I do not really know what happend in 3-5 division. But in the old days, many times, strong teams promoted to the same division.
You can look at it in different ways. The division gets more interesting, if a single strong team dominates a division than it will get worse and worse.
But on the other hand, the battle for second place might be a good challenge for the lesser teams. With 2-3 dominating teams, some of the other teams might not have chance to learn from their mistakes. They just do not survive.

Good idea, but maybe a bit too late to use that information now for next season. With a new season upcoming, we'd better try to inform some former team leaders. Are the email addresses of those who are no longer active saved somewhere? Or otherwise, maybe an idea... Is there a way to directly contact members of this forum?
...Btw, For me it was Wielerflits.nl as well, some of the members there helped me a lot with with the game.

It's years like uneven -I raised my hand in the past, but sort of accept it now (as for the higher division is is not so much a matter of luck). Is there an algorithm now active that makes the distribution or is it manual labor? (I suspected a algorithm based on team value -but that doesn't cover the bill.) Either option can be improved quite easily tough.

Did we lose Bergtoppen due to bankrupcy? Sad to see her go like that.

You'll never know. Not everybody will finish in the first group in the last stage. The hills will kill a few, I think. I never expected that Naz would lose the Giro, but I though that was done and didn't use extra energy on him even in the helpers so the fact is that he finish 3rd in podium. I also made a new contract with him before the last stage taking of the jersey bonus. My fault Naz did not lose the Giro; he became third and could have become first, but than you should change trainers or not play him in France ;-) I was thinking Naz would win as well, but still I like to take my chances ;-) Naz was the strongest GC-man anyway. Vadim had "fitness-doped" himself two times. I guess Steenbergen as well.

Some bug maybe? Results FGFC DivB 23y of yesterday: the riders of Jorge Castro seems to be enlisted double (sometimes with different results, probably due to falling and/or flat tires).

To my opinion my team is overestimated and Bergtoppen and Joachims teams might be tougher than estimated.
I have older riders that are not trained so much and my new generation is not as far as Ab's. I have kept track on other teams in div 3 last year. Lucero has the best riders, but the other promoted teams in our division are not far off.
Btw, until now my big team strategy worked fine. However, I feel after one week in 2:2 the need to downsize. And of course Rarau told me what to do, but then again, he has even more riders than me.

It is strange, because a few weeks in a row everything seems to be ok. And now so much trouble again. Sort of set my tactics tough, but of course like with many other last days in 3-day races- doubting if I did the good thing (optimize chances for the day victory, jersey a or jersey b?).
What are the criteria to convict a late manager to bad luck? Some members were stating earlier that setting your tactics in the morning before a race, is a bad idea and when the site is down you are the one to blame... From a pragmatic view, knowing the game depends on the work of volunteers who have families and busy jobs, this seems to be a right approach...
But -with all due respect and without any reproach- what is the limit? A total tour? A day? 12 hours? 8? 4? Or when more than how many people complain? Under what circumstances or according to what criteria a race should be postponed?

rarau No need for defensive explanations. I know the situation, not angry or even sad, just curious and a bit impatient ;-) I've just posed a question. If this is only for one day and only few managers are struck by it, they just have bad luck. You'd made the point clear. Joan just emailed me, if you want to contact him, give your email address and I will send it to him asking him to contact you... Or post your question/announcements here, I can forward them... Although I hope he took my advice just to look himself here at the forum

Well, yeah, of course, it is not wise to put your tactics an hour before the race. So I guess the message to Joan is: bad luck?
(And yes, I've adopted the adviseable practice to set up tactics some days or a week before and fine tune the day or the morning before the race.
(If I am not mistaken btw, faema has something like 6 riders in het team, so she picks her races ;-) Seems more like a deliberate choice to me, but you'd have to ask her.)
Any news on the state of the server?

Site down again? In 3:3 Joan from Joanteam was trying to set up his team and probably just missed out on the race... (He did not confirm his team before the crash). How to deal with that?

By doing fair system to make up new divisions? Like not putting the best 3 teams of division 4 in 3:3 with the two best regulated teams of 2:1?

Well, guys, thank you for the utter nonsense and the information that does not fit reality. Just count the points! (Or add up the total value of riders, investments and money, but... let's be honest, this is a total random thing or an algorithm gone wild!) If you do not believe it, just look what is going to in 3:3 (only division where promoted teams won the first two races and why the two best regulated teams of 2:1 are in this division?). And I am very glad that, you Rarau will be first hand witness on what is to come.
