Good. This effect will correct itself after a couple of weeks, when the teams with lots of cyclists have dumped their abundant cyclists.

In the meantime : now is a good time for starters to begin a team you can buy yourself a whole team fit for the lower divisions for peanuts !

Thats true, and i hate that I have a lot of cyclists, trying to sell, but i really have to list the most for nothing, nobody wants cyclists anymore. I still think the decision was good, but it should start next season, not so soon after it's been anounced.

It wouldn't have mattered. Everyone would have kept their cyclists to train them longer and they would still sell them only during the last weeks.

Offcourse not, everbody knows that if they sell in the last few weeks, they wouldnt get any omney for it, because nobody wants cyclists because of they cant train them, The cyclist dump would have been over al bigger period, so the prices wouldn't fall that much.

Just have to think ahead, I figured prices would be low since alot of people were dumping cyclists, I've been dumping 5 cyclists a week for over 5 weeks and only now I've been selling them for almost nothing. The first week I made 4 million with only 6 cyclists

You're right, IP is wrong. But he wont change his mind. I've tried before.

It's too late to change anything... I just hope that if other big changes will come, they will be announced a lot earlier.

I don't think so, problems like this one have there been many times before, IP just doesn't listen and runs the game like Kim Jong Il runs South Korea. Problem for him is: here people can run away, and that is what will happen if you make decisions people don't like and don't gave them the time to anticipate.

We (=the designing crew + Il Padrino) have taken this decision together (with quite some discussions and altered suggestions) and have been defending this feature together on this forum. 2. We still think this decision was the right decision. 3. I can assure you IP reads kinda everything on this forum. He knows very well what's going on and is prepared to listen to and consider every suggestion, not only from us, the designers, as from you. and finally: Kim Jong II is North Korea's leader . (If we'd grow as fast as South korea's economy, we'd already be as big as Hattrick, I guess. ;D)

I just hope that if other big changes will come, they will be announced a lot earlier. idd It would be better if it was anounced earlier so at least i had time to let the cyclist pop before selling. But it is hard selling one for 5k after you payed 350k for him 1,5 months ago. But hell its only a game and it was a loophole that should have been closed, so the dicission is good. Only it was implemented in a to short time and thats a shame, but its this way and just have to adapt yourself to this. Thing that the dumping of the players could have been spred in time, but here the big bang theory was choosen, its a dicision that can be broken down easily, but also the alternatives. I gave mine opnion about this more then once, but the closing of this loophole is only nomal

A change towards a maximum amount of cyclists has more or less been suggested by myself ( IN THIS TOPIC, after which the discussion continued in that other topic), so I knew already for quite some time what was coming. Now the transfer market has collapsed quite a bit, but this will get solved by itself after a while. In the end, I still believe this is a good thing, as it will limit the amount of cyclists in the game. And there won't be teams with 10 versus teams with 100 cyclists. They all will have more or less 25 to 30 cyclists left, just like in real teams. But I didn't expect the transfer market to collapse this much ! Perhaps there aren't enough active (new) players. Actually, it should be good if a whole bunch of new players could get to find their way to this game now. So at least you still would get a small amount for your since-long-trained cyclists.

just to look at it from the other side, I suspect that many players will now immediately aim to jump to 25 cyclists within the first few weeks of joining, as there is now a definite number to aim for.
for a less serious player, there is the psychological issue of spending so much time online to get to 50-100 cyclists to compete with the top players that I suspect many people felt it wasn't worth the bother.
With a relatively low number like 25 to aim at, I suspect teams will end up growing to this level rather more quickly than before.
Of course, this reasoning assumes that the game will continue to grow at the same slow but steady rate it has been since I started playing.
