We are currently working on a enhanced version of the funrace engine. The purpose is to make choosing tactics less predictable. Wednesday October 17 a first public Under 21 funrace was created for further testing. On Wednesday it was simulated with the old engine, on Thursday afternoon it will be resimulated with the (beta version of the) new engine.

WHAT IS NEW ?
I think Sironi was on a early attack tactic ? One of the more important changes in the engine involves "empty tank", every km in attack is counted (partially when in a group of attackers) at a certain point the cyclist will reach his limit and go in survivor mode ("save fitness"). Ofcourse this means he will go much slower then cyclists who stay at the peloton where the km's are divided by much more people.
Important changes in the new engine :
- Changed some factors deciding the peloton speed, fixed some things like when more helpers had a negative effect on the peloton speed !
- introduced "Empty Tank", every km in attack is counted (partially when in a group of attackers) at a certain point the cyclist can reach his limit and go in survivor mode ("save fitness"). Ofcourse this means he will go much slower then cyclists who stay at the peloton where the km's are divided by (much) more people.
- Fatigue already existed but the difference between attackers and helpers (and also the rest peloton) is now much bigger
- Changed the grouping (less strict immediately behind the peloton, and on downhill)
- Peloton gains more speed at the end of a race
- less influence from mood, more from form (which is calculated differntly, I hope to have the new formvalues on the cyclist selection page asap, I already tried to but failed )

Oct 16 (evening) - 17 (morning) :
Split the R&D 4 U21 race into two, because 20 participants was reached, I put teams from division 4 and 5 in the R&D 4b funrace. Also made it possible to enter the TEST races while subscribed for another funrace at the same date (for Non Premium members, Premium members already could enter up to 5 races).
