Welcome to the forum. First stages are already history. 4 races and 4 different winners. Seems a bit different than last season where BJA and C@isse won almost everything. But let me first welcome the new teams. Three of them since we received a bot team: Nightbiker. He probably became a bot team because the stages are held during daytime. To all others that remained in this Div let's fight for a better position and more wins than last season. I ended 3rd and I hope doing the same. But I'll be glad to have a top 5 ranking. I had to sell some of my better (and older) cyclists to avoid bankrupcy. But we're back in business now. (For the time being...)
Just hope that everyone of you will know succeses in this season and that this topic will be as active as it was last season.
Good luck to you all and see you soon on this forum.

First week is already gone. 15 weeks to go and many many stages.
6 teams were very succesfull so far. 5 stagewinners and Cyclist Devils with 2 jerseys (TimeJersey and Points)
But we'll all get many more opportunities to win stages and jerseys and make our goals come true.

3rd win today. What a heck of a race. Finished 1 - 3 (both at 100%) 4 - 5 (both at 85%) and 6 (Taha had 90% left and went at 70%)
My winner is a fresh pull!
Great for the points. The cash was a bit less, but still satisfying. Only 6 teams with 22 cyclists. As we all know Nightbiker is a bot team and Breschel Cycling has no cyclists any more.
Due to the massive points my team won, I'm 2nd in GC Div ranking now.
My opponent and number 1 in Div 3:1 last season: "Bartje" BJA Cycling has done well too in 2:1. Still no victory, but he's doing well in the GC. Great man!

2nd week over, 3rd to start. And already 4 wins. What a difference when there is no BJA nor C@aisse.
Each week 2 wins. Not bad if I could hold on to that rhytm. But my cyclists are almost empty now. I filled up this calenderweek mostly with young ones. Looking forward to their results.
And look at the standings:
1. Ngogo with 860 points (2wins and all the mountain jerseys) 2. Pegasus with 851 points (3 wins and 2TT and 1 PT jersey) 3. ALESANA with 816 points (4 wins and no jerseys) 4. Cyclist Devils with 595 points (1 win and 1TT and 2 PT jerseys)
It's going to be an exciting season again. But quiet on the forum I guess.

Tremendous ride from Azoulay and Floca. Difficult to beat in the mountains. They closed the gap with the leader Peters. But can they overwin him in the GC? Peters is supposed to ride in Romandië. So not much efforts to make in the final day. Flat, hill and downhill. Seems that Azoulay has not that much of flat, and Floca is about the same as Peters. Perhaps a little better.
Will they try to win the TJ and/or the PJ? Only 12 seconds advantage for Peters. And 2'47" at 3rd place. All 3 cyclist went 100% for the victory today. So 65% fitness left. Then there is this gap of 14 minutes between 1st and 3rd. (12' between 3rd and 4th) Can they bridge this time gap?
For the PJ still 20 points to win. And 5 cyclist are to be considered as winner for this jersey.
And who will win the MJ? With 35 mountian points to win also everything is possible. A hilly sprint man can take 35 points and when Azoulay doesn't take 2 points he won't keep his mountain jersey.
Very exciting!!

First tour win and points jersey.
Taking the lead in Div 3:1. Hmmm, should I go for promotion or not?
My goal is to remain 1 more season in 3rd. I think my cyclist are not strong enough to be competitive in 2nd. Sure cause they get older and I will have to sell or sack them. And my 27-30 yrs one are not strong enough to survive 2nd Div and let me survive. That season.
Financially it was a good tour, and a great increase in the amount of supps. But I had to pay huge bonusses for Peters.
Still some weeks to think about promotion or not...

Is very difficult in div 2 if you don t have stars.
Firstly in this game you need to be healthy with your finances.
Healthy = 5.000.000
p.s. i'm upset because i m not the wheltiest romanian. Negru it is and is very difficult to reach him, almost impossible.

Negru it is and is very difficult to reach him, almost impossible. I'm sorry you're not the wheltiest Romanian. And I know you've got to be healthy with finances to go to 2nd Div. I've been there before several times and had each time a loss of 2.5M. Started each time in div 2 with over 4M. So to promote to div 2 I've got a lot of work to do on my financial situation and on my teamskills.

idd it's hard chakra, but possible. I promoted this season to 2nd div, and for the moment after 2 weeks i'm break even without winning a race. I have reached some top 10 spots and a few podiums, so i earned some money to pay the bills. I dont have the super stars in my squad, but some decent riders who give me point every now and then. Problem in second is that you feel the fitness tactic much harder. The difference between the cyclists is much smaller. If your opponent uses fitness training, he can play his cyclist every week while i can only once in 2 weeks, what means he doubles the income and points compared to me. I think it's impossible to win a big tour in div2 without fitness training. But that's their choice. I dont mind going back to 3rd. my ambition is to have fun, not to reach div1. So i would suggest have fun, win all the races you can win, cash big, and try again in div2 next season :-)

By the way Parasca and Zeffiretti are stars, they have skills like Lemius and they dont have any chances on division 3 I paid for Parasca 2.700.000 $ on 2012

Yes, BJA and C@isse used fitness every week last season. Which gave them an enormous advantage.
Bartje (BJA) explained he uses it for his older cyclist cause they don't make much progress in training anymore.
I can understand this kind of tactics. I myself used it once (with a fitness trainer 5) last season. And to be honest yes this season: once so far. These 5% fitness gave me a small advantage, but I noticed other teams used their fitness trainer too (fitness = 10+).
IMO fitness training should be banned!
Delete it from the tables and give the teams with a fitness trainer a small financial bonus as compensation. Just a proposition. An I'm pretty sure there are more teammanagers thinking the same about it.

A week passed without any one else writing at this forum topic. Nevertheless I send a msg to al my Div members to visit and write on the forum.
Meanwhile I took over first place in the Div with a lead of approx 200 points and have the idea Ngongo is pulling his brakes. With 3 MJ he perform not that great on the mountains in Vais Pasco. But still two races to come.
Today's sprint race will be a new experience. mountain-downhillers to sprint on a downhill arrival. The speed will be like a rocket. First place...Roger Habay?
Another question? How many races must a cyclist lead the pack before popping in LS? Lezzani has now 45 stages as a leader but still not popped. I hope he makes some progress in this little Vuelta and will be ready for the Giro. (or not)
