Thinking of giving up after a good few years playing. Stuck in division 3 mid table with no clear path to improvement or advancement. Slowly sinking with dwindling money as it’s a winner takes all. The top 3 getting all the loot from races and anybody lower than say position 5 getting pretty much nothing. The game needs radically revising, it’s soulless. I saw that comment in this thread and agree. Without a clear or killer strategy to employ I cannot see a path forward for me. Tried with youth scout and tried without. Tried binary training and tried multiple skill training. Tried guessing FA and tried calculating, neither work satisfactory. Tried home grown and tried buying riders - TM is broken. Premium expired, didn’t renew.

You have good points there wheelnut. The money part of this game is broken. I know there are some very smart managers that do very well. But basically a few rich teams have the power (and sometimes know some tricks, in the paste ven exploits) and get richer.
Younger riders should be able to book some successes early age - finding out FA en training 15+ seasons before even having a small chance of winning a senior race is not acceptable. And there should be a bit more strategic options (why should a sprint race be a sprint race? And why not speculate or plan on an end sprint in a hill race. Orders like: follow GC leader, keep pace, counter escapes, or go when others attack, could make the game much more interesting) and add gambling factors in this game. Even if the odds where 1:200 that Lafay would win today in the Tour de France, also in this game on a good day a thing like that should be possible.

Wheelnut, it´s true what you said.
In the past I already wanted to change things related to finances but Frank didn't want to change a lot, so we just change a little.
I think that the sponsor money should cover up riders and trainer salaries so that the money won from races are extras, we need also another training system to atrack new players and I think that doing a a restart would be also benefic for all( only when we had a new patch for the game)
Righ now, I am preparing to defend my master´s thesis and I don't have time but we have 2/3 managers that want to help and I think that we just need comunication and trust to work with the code and improve it.

First of all lots of succes with your thesis!!! About sponsor money I agree. It should almost or completely cover the costs for 25 cyclists and staf (not fully upgraded staff offcourse but lets say 12-15 on everything). Maybe it would be a good idea that the sponsormoney (weekly) is divided and given for the races you compete in... Doing so it will be important to be at least a little bit active in the game.

Hello! Here are the corrected versions of your sentences:
"Hi, everyone!
I've always held the opinion that the game economy will eventually break. I discussed this with El Gringo a few years ago. (I might have posted about it on the forum too, but I don't remember.) For me, at this moment, the game is more about finances than about cycling.
My suggestions:
Cut the trainer's wage (I spend almost 5x more money on the manager than on the cyclists' wages.)
"Another suggestion is to significantly improve the speed of training, especially for the higher values, perhaps exponentially."
Cut the YoungScout's wage (the quality of the cyclists that YoungScout finds is very poor compared to this wage.)
"Another suggestion is to significantly improve the quality of the young cyclists found."
Improve the cyclists' wages, they are the stars!!! "Another suggestion is to set a limit on the number of cyclists per team, 30 would be a nice number. (Some teams have almost 50 cyclists because having average cyclists is less expensive than training a good cyclist.)"

I agree especially on that last point of setting a limit on the number of cyclists. This would improve the tactical thinking in the game. Now some managers can put every race multipel cyclist on 100% because they have cyclists eneough.
