the period between 26 and 32 is too long=> we could have a day from 6 of the week, with daily race for 26-30 years cyclists.

agree with Zberg on this one. Don't need to know the FA in advance, but now we are all forced to train most skills to 7, otherwise your cyclist will be blown away in the sections that don't suit him well.

Maybe you're right about the FA in an ideal situation but the issue is newer teams (which we need) and I count mine in this and I've played for a few years can't afford a trainer that is good at everything. That means I put in multiple seasons of training into a rider and then when they hit 7 it turns out that half of them can't go any higher in the main skill and its a complete waste. Perhaps in circumstances where there are enough teams to allow a properly functioning transfer market i could sell for value and pick up an alternative similarly levelled rider(s) until I had one that trains well in my trainers skills but it isn't possible at the moment because there aren't enough of us. I see the issue you raise of making training different from the outset - that all riders would be useless in some skills and therefore not be able to stay in peloton. Maybe working out FAs should be an additional function of a youth scout - give them more of a function in the game

Make a new account. Your old account is probably too old and expired (gone). You get new password in email. Check your spam folder.

Maybe one of the most simple things we can do to correct it without damaging older succesful teams, is having more frequent training updates. Like 2 or 3 a week. Any thoughts on this?

Without other compensation or finetuning it does not seem realistic to me. Riders will reach 50 skillpoints when 28 or so. And that has many consequences, for example everyone will have many top cyclists, wages and that strange wage-renewal-contract-system will become more important...

What compensation you want for what? Abs record of 62 points overall will be broken in a few seasons, that is true. I do not mind that there are more competitive riders. Playing in 1:1. a little bit extra on some skills can make the difference. It is not different than it is now. Only younger riders get more competitive sooner. And older riders might with the right training stay around a bit longer.

On the long term, that doesn't change anything I think. The problem will be exactly the same, but with every cyclist having way more skill points. When the 18y olds of today turn 36y old (I know, that's a long period) than every cyclist would have had 2 or 3 trainings a week so still the oldest would be way better. Just a quick idea, maybe not thought trough: Is it maybe an option to give a cyclist a "training boost" at the season update? So when a cyclist gets a year older, he gets a big gain in skills (the younger the cyclist, the bigger the gain). This could be random, so at a season update, you would be curious to find out on which skill(s) a cyclist has improved. It would be a bit like real life: after a whole season of training, you take a rest week and than you get "overcompensation" so you get way stronger.

You could also play with fitness (between certain age (23-28?) cyclists would gain a lot more fitness with the week update and at certain age (32+?) less fitness gain in the week update ... That would make young cyclists a lot more important in a team while older cyclst can still focus on 'certain' stages (a lot like in real life?)...
