Good question. The answer is: both Thanks! That will make it hard to make a general formula for all races since not all race ends are the same

which brings me to an other question, although it's clear when a race ends downhill or flat, how can we see the difference between hill and mountain?

Well, there is a different angle used for the hill part and the mountain part in a race. It can easily be determined if you look at the different parts of a particular race.

ok, so those angles are the same for the entire race? no mountain is any steeper then an other mountain within the same race?

how will the trainer salary change after being trained in different skills?
or in other words if I train a monoskill trainer to become a biskilled trainer, will his wage double or remain the same?

Salary changes will occur once a season (with seasonupdate) and will be based on the skills of the trainer at that time

A skill will drop by 10 points, isn't that enough?

Planned changes for the next season (7/28/2007)Also the way sprinting works will be changed. Not only the sprintskill will be taken into account, also the skill of the terrain on which the sprint is held, will be of importance. As a consequence, the finish sprint will also be held on the terrain on which the race ends and will be 10% of the total distance of the race (instead of 25% of the flat distance). ok just a clarification the terrain on which the final sprint is held will affect only the skill used on the calculation, or also the speed at which the sprint is done? for ex. if a race ends with mountain will be the sprint slower or will be at the same speed of a race that ends in flat?
