well, Joop, I knew it right from the beginning of the season. I saw you using some strange tactics were I assumed that you were aiming for spot 3. During the season it only became more clear to me. Nothing wrong with this, I did the exact same thing the past seasons. I knew my next generation was not ready, and look were I am today... It would have been an extremely boring season in Div 1. Nevertheless, I am curious to see who takes that #2 spot. Only 100 pnts between 2 and 4. Same battle for relegation, nice to follow. I wonder how many points Toss can score in the final week, with his young guns
ToB; i had high hopes that Arsenal would safe some fitness on Strauss and keep him available for next week. Unfortunately for me, he used the same tactic as I did. Played, and failed. That's a fact. Lost it in the hill parts I assume. Damn Strauss:-) Bosko, Craddon has Mntn skill 8. Now you get an idea about yesterday's race. I think the paste in the final part was too high for Carpi? Otherwise form? Craddon is at 8 now. Compared to flat sprints in the past, craddon cannot win against Carpi or Dhaenekint; so I assume they both have a higher flat skill.

Lost it in the hill parts I assume. Damn Strauss:-) It would be a bit strange to safe some fitness. Next week there's no really "hilly" race. The race this week could give you a stage win, a time jersey and a point jersey. Logical to go all-in. Bosko, Craddon has Mntn skill 8. It's actually simple: as Carpignoli is trained as a sprinter, his SP is excellent, but his TT sucks. At the end of the race, he lost his helper and had to do it on his own. But with his TT, you don't come very far. I've always been a bit in doubt if I should train his TT too or if that would be a waist (taking into account you always put a helper with him).

Woohoo, a podium this Vuelta! Martinus Ahnert scores his first top 3 in an ITT and also profits from the fact that there are 3 flat TT's in a few days. Managers have to make choices here. Well done by Narente who has 81% fitness left and probably will ave fitness tomorrow and go for the Worlds ITT as well.

Yeah nice to see Mennens winning this at 26. And to be in the safe zone!

Yeah nice to see Mennens winning this at 26. And to be in the safe zone! Indeed nice results for Mennens (also in GC). And with Van Straalen, another young talent showed a bit of his talent. Only 22 points now between pos 8 and 10.

A lot of position switches at the start of the final week. Rios puts GIK team again in pole position for the last promotion ticket. Tossboom puts Quiller Boys in pole position for the last relegation ticket. Low Budget Cycling puts DeRodeLantaarn a bit closer to "de rode lantaarn" (but En Danseuse seems safe for that award). Now 6 single races, so a lot can still change. Good luck to all! Money time (literally): World Championship Individual Timetrial today. Narente (GIK team), Baumann (WC VroOom) and Van Rumst (Arsenal '98) seem to be the favourites. Laborde (Quiller Boys), Van Bunnik (Headcase Pro Cycling) or maybe Teodorescu (Low Budget Cycling) to complete top 5.

bosko. Those are clearly the names to look for. Only two that I can add are Perissinotto and Devoldere. Sorry to tossboom that I crushed the dreams of Do Rosario by defeating him with 3 seconds. I was expecting a lot of Kastrop. But the fact that he could already beat 21 year olds from one of the best educations in the game was beyond my expectations.

Kastrop should already be about 10 TT and 5 FL or so? Kramar is also 10 TT but lacks FL. Rosario is 9 FL but only 6 TT.

10 flat and he just popped to 4 flat. No surprise in top 3 of ITT today. Congrats to evild. I didn't see Filipe coming. He didn't ride so many ITT's this season. Good ride for him today. Van Groen even ahead of Van Bunnik is my personal big surprise today.
