I really don't see how a restart will help the game and it would be extremely unfair to the managers who have been adapting a long-term approach. There's a bunch of guys who have invested seasons/years now to create teams who can win/dominate Division 1.1 in the (near-)future, it will be huge slap in the face to tell them we are going to restart again.
We're finally on the brink of getting rid of this first generation riders that have been dominating the game for years and years and years, restarting would just start the loop all over again (unless we can make some major game changes of course). I personally feel that we're now entering a more interesting phase in Peloton wherein it will be less likely for a team to dominate over en extended period of time. Even the first movers with the youngsters squads are already sitting with riders that are becoming quite old.
I can understand people losing interest, as there is still a lot to improve game mechanics-wise, but a restart is not the solution to this problem. Also, if you see that your team is not making any progress, but you're also lacking the motivation to do something about that, then maybe this is not the right game for you. We've got several managers now who have started only in 2015 and still manage to play very competitively, so there are definitely some possibilities there.

I am not in favour of a restart either EXCEPT when the long carreer and training at higher age is handled first, after that a restart is the only fair option.
That has always been my opinion and I hope it is also what ElGringo means with "(a poll for) a restart after fixing some bugs" !

because you can't handle that without a restart , having cyclists trained at different speeds is totally unfair (unless you make the new cyclists stronger (in a short time))

Not restarting again???!!! If that is done I think many of the managers will lose intrest in the game, I guess. And as for resolving the bugs? Last months I didn't notice any severe bugs as we did a couple of seasons ago due to "hacking"?
Why decreasing the skills 5 years earlier than now (you propose to start the decrease at 30?)? What's the advantage of it?
Increasing the trainingprogress is OK for me, but it shouldn't be increased with 50% (unless the age of decreasing lowers drastically)
Why not get rid of the fitnesstraining skill. Or increase the number of cyclist in training (up to 28-30)?
Or doing something about the financials.
* Increase the sponsorship
* Lower the wage of a trainer
* Get rid of the minimum subscribed cyclists in a stage
this issue discriminates the teammanagers in Div's with bot teams or with teammanagers forget/refuse to enlist a stage/tour.
* Award pricemoney to a youngster jersey in a tour
* Increase amount of supps for a stage/tour
Ain't it programmatic wise (is this correct english?) possible to make a stage more attractive with a movie of the stage? As for example in soccer? (I think it's that game that uses a review of the match)
But is it necassary to restart the game to implant some or all this? Can't that be done during the seasonal brake?
By the way I like this managing game!

Exacly I know isn't easy to make a restart and some will agree and others don't, but is to be fair to everyone. I know that some already dedicate to make a new team and to be the best in game, I also have some good riders in that case and isn't easy but like things are a restart isn't something for now because bugs need to be fix 1st and for that we need someone to work on it with knowledge. |

i m mostly witH all your oppinions in what game you see restarts so often ?!? The game is ok like is now. With a restart only dye hards will reach div 1.1 and in some seasons what we will do, what ?? restart again and again ?!? is very good like is now after this generations will be in div 1.1 users who have now 28-30 y cyclists. then in few seasons users who have now 20-22y and so on. What you want to see? only the same teams to be in div 1.1 ?? Is not my fault that some teams have only the same age cyclists. In life you need to think also on present and future. Like chakra said ... a lot of things could be done. First: Increase the sponsorship Award pricemoney to a youngster jersey in a tour Increase amount of supps for a stage/tour maybe youngsters need to have more pricemoney then normal races, i said a lot before this game need to be for all not only for people who could spent a lot of time online This game need to be for people who also have a family, a life and so on. Me and Evcont like this stuff a lot, we dont like strategics games who finish in 2 days, for this are facebook games and so on. This game need mentors, needs funraces competitions, more life on forums and not changes everyweeks. For what to play when will be a restart?? do have 4 seasons at least for reach div 1.1 ? this is almost 1 real year i supposed we all stat from div 5 now because of things are gone, one team could start from div 5, on div 5 and 4 win a lot of money and then in div 3 choose to train or to go to div 2. He have chances to reach div 2 because not all users have oldies in thier teams. On a restart will not have any chances because first divisions will be only for people who are always online. This game is for FUN not for eat 4 hours everyday from our life. |
