So, with Peloton being inactive nowadays, let's bring on a very wild suggestion. What about starting it all over again? Every one gets a new team with 12 cyclists and some starting money. No advantages. Let's kick my ass and screw this suggestion! (or does it make sense, maybe, perhaps?)

I dont think this make sense because some teams have a long term plan and it would be unfair.

that would rock (as i don't have a team atm) ... but no, will be a waste of time for dedicated people that kept playing. I'll pass on suggestions for a while (the windmills are still bored of me i suppose)

If it would help to make it all easier for IP to set right what has been going wrong lately, I wouldn't mind to start all over again. OK, I would miss my superb cyclists. But on the other hand it would also give us the opportunity to work out possibly other flaws in this game and implement even some other new things (such as national teams, youth races maybe, ...), so the "2nd edition" could be one step further beyond.

What I would like about it is that in the beginning we didn't really get equal skilled teams, nowadays we do. But well, i do long term planning, and i'd miss my cyclists, so i can't make up my mind.

It's all about luck in the beggining, some get 2 x 1u yo olds other get only 20 yo+ and if the ones u got dont have decebt skills and ur not top 5 then you won't have decent results even in 3-4 seasons as your team just hasn;t got the potential (not to mention the a good scout is out of the question for new teams). Even if they relegate those teams are still weaker.

please not start again from zero! only when there's no other solution, because I should miss the game too much

Is there a small chance that it would be this way?

It was just a poll of mine, nothing serious. But I'm as surprised as you with the outcome. Half/half. Interesting...

Might not be a real bad idea - We could also talk about changeing the match engine while we are at it -

If it starts again I will stop playing, as will many others.

Of course, But it will grow again after...
... I would ofcourse like to continue with my old team, but if it takes another month to do so, i think we will lose a lot of contenders anyhow. So if pedro can't get the old version working agian soon, we might as well start over...

if this can help IP to restore the game, i think that this can be a good idea....
I want play....
Moreover, if we restart from 0 we can delete the inactive players, and we can absorb the natural death due to the inactivity of the site......
