Sorry Gringo but I really don't feel like promoting. Have a plan in mind for the next seasons.
So no problem that gianna did not win the tour and now i really tried buitenhuis not to win Burgos.
Will consider some more sellings too.

Don't have time to check race report but apparantly orlandoni got dropped somewhere?
I saved his fitness to 97% to race at 100% because i thought he had a large chance to win it.
But i set him as helper for gianarelli so probably my misjudgement.

To be honest, I am really surprised that Brognoli couldn't follow group 1 and Gianarelli did. Sprint skill on the first attack point? Today on a flat section Brognoli dropped Giannarelli. If this happens again in the last stage a lot is still possible. Nice win of Lorens. Hingant saved some fitness and will try again next week to continue his quest for polka jersey. Will be close I guess.

Nicely dominated bij KasseienSt.
Saving Buitenhuis fitness for Burgos. Hingant will captain Spain.

Strong race from Herregodts. Congratulations Sloodts for the victory. Promising!
It will be close for GC tomorrow. I am quite sure that Green and Polka jerseys will go to Sloodts and Timm if they race at 100%.

Nice Pedale duo sprinting style today. Brognoli and Giannarelli are the best GC'ers in flat. Their Tt (and other) skills are almost similar (brognoli wins on Fl and Hl, Gianna on Mo and Sp) so it will be very close.
Don't think Bienert is out of the game after fitness training and some mountains to go. But personally I think his climbing advantage will be too small to make up this amount of time. Van den Elzen is unknown to me but he looks more like a good Fl/Hl allrounder. Don't think his climbing will gain much time on the other guys.
Also still 3 stages to go where flat will be important.
Remarquable that many good rides already burnt their fitness a lot and will have to watch for the rest of the Tour.

I am aiming for jerseys again. Gianni for GC or points. Hingant for a shot at polka dot jersey. Tomorrow caf*gi gets his chance as well.
I should probably better continue training my younger leader more but it is so tempting to give options in tours.
First stage had already large differences and many droppers from first group. I guess Giannarelli his mood saved him because he has the same hill skill as Orlandoni. Orlandoni rode at 100% and was dropped on a hill part. Gianna saved fitness and remained in first group.

No big suprises in last GIRO stage. Congratulations for quiller and ngogo with their (unexpected?) jerseys.
I was thinking to save fitness in the last stage with Buitenhuis but was doubting about quiller really wanting 2nd place in GC with Banciu who could potentially come over the top. So played it at 70% and got 2 minutes left. Choice turned out right.
It still amazes me that Buitenhuis could beat Naz. Skillwise he is not close. Probably because of the following reasons (in the order of importance): - Giro did not really have a mountaineous profile. Only two mountain stages that both have a long flat/hill first part so no big mountain time gaps were made. - attacking stage 1 where the leading group gained a very large time gap. - higher sprinting skill giving some advantage in every first attacking point. - higher lenght/weight giving some advantage in the many hill and flat sections that were present in giro

The stage i was hoping for with limited time differences. GC is looking nice.
No Vandekerckhove tomorrow. Paasikallio for a top 5 spot.

Nice that there is still some talk about GC. But there was a little similar situation in a certain tour last year where i didn't work out for buitenhuis against naz so i'm still very carefull.
Made my strategy up front and just following it. No hard choices left here.
Today's win was very lucky too with ngogo's fall in the end. I like this division a lot this year. Good competition and an active forum.

Thx guys. Only Veen his first win in my team. Last few times I always was quite unhappy he never could win something (and most of the times not even close).
Naz will not have difficulties winning GC and MJ in my opinion.
