Without other compensation or finetuning it does not seem realistic to me. Riders will reach 50 skillpoints when 28 or so. And that has many consequences, for example everyone will have many top cyclists, wages and that strange wage-renewal-contract-system will become more important...

Training from 7 to 8 takes 50 000 transfervalue increase.
So for example if your rider increases 10 000 TV after two trainings it will take 10 weeks to pop to level 8.
With a trainer 15 in that skill everything starting from taking 7 weeks and below is interesting to continue training.

I get how that makes sense, but I'm trying to work out whether it is the only way to produce competitive cyclists or not. I guess I am asking whether a level of experience is worth the same as a level of flat, mountain, hill or whatever in terms of performance/times? If it is I'll have to change my method as I currently try and share rides and leadership (across 4 leaders) but it means they are less experienced and given how experienced riders can become I'll have to change if it has a big impact. A leader should mainly have good leadership. It makes more sense to share leadership over less riders, for example two. It is better to have 2 leaders with high leadership compared to 4 leaders having average. Experience is helpfull for all riders that want to have good results.

personally I wouldn't split them in two groups too fast. Usually some people forget to put their team somewhere along the way and the competition could get limited after a while when splitted.

I agree with you. That is a nice aspect. But in this situation it seems over the top. This week will probably have about just the same winners as the week having E3, GentWG, DwarsDV... in two weeks.
Imagine having a rider with good hill, some mountain but no flat. Twelve hill races upcoming but not a single one really fits your rider.
But making a good calender sure isn't easy, respect for anyone trying.

All spring classics are almost the same. It doesn't really matter to me, it's just monotonous. I agree with this. It is realistic compared to real life but there are too many similar races close to each other in my opinion. With Nieuwsblad, Kuurne, Samyn, StradeB, Setti stage 3, E3, GentWG, DwarsDV, RondeVV, BrabantseP, AmstelG, FlecheW, there are 12 out of the next 22 races almost similar to each other (without counting U22).

why not? My team for example scored 142 points with first three races, 70 in the last three. 212 in total.
Carefull not to use (best) cyclist standings or cyclist individual points. Here points for mountain and green jersey intermediate sprints are added too (and jersey points aren't counted).

Points tour means points for green jersey bases on stage standings. Points division is the number of points you gain for your division classement. Division points should be like table below. ° | general stage
| stage in tour
| yellow jersey
| mountain/points jersey |

1 | 100 | 60 | 100 | 30 | 2 | 60 | 40 | 60 | 20 | 3 | 40 | 25 | 40 | 10 | 4 | 30 | 15 | 25 | 5 | 5 | 20 | 12 | 15 | 3 | 6 | 15 | 10 | 12 | 0 | 7 | 10 | 8 | 10 | 0 | 8 | 9 | 6 | 8 | 0 | 9 | 8 | 4 | 6 | 0 | 10 | 7 | 2 | 4 | 0 | 11 | 6 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 12 | 5 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 13 | 4 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 14 | 3

For me personally it is no problem. I think for beginning teams or teams who are not at the top of divisions 3/4/5 seasons are too long and they sometimes quit because it becomes boring not being able to win for a long time.
