... at this point, just shoot one/two riders sprinters in each minitour of 3 race at 100% with 2/3 helpers to get results? bah ... Yesterday's race was won by an attacker. So it's not 'just shoot a sprinter'. Also in many other divisions attackers won. And what is strange about a sprinter at 100% with 2/3 helpers winning the stage? You rather see someone with 70% effort winning, or someone sprinting without helpers, or a helper? Last year my Malton won 8 from his 9 victories on 70% effort (in a division with top mountain cyclists). Results were easy to predict. That is much more 'bah' and boring. I'm sure in this race engine it won't be that easy anymore. I do agree with you, though the fitness model in the new engine seems outdated, at least this is the way i see it. A cyclist played 100% which is not an attacker and who has a lower skill on the terrain were the sprint is on (even if overall for the stage the skill is high) does not help at all, only to loose fitness. Which makes some sense, it just reduces the actual possibilities for us. In the same time, a cyclist played 70% which can make an attack will win the race if the speed of the peloton is not high enough. Even if in the peloton there are guys on 100%, but they are not attackers.

maybe i am just to stuppid and i have to quit with this game... Hey, we've been in the same group and i think you have a very good team. It's a new game engine and it's clear for all of us it will take some time to understand it, besides any possible bugs. So don't give up so easily, it may be pretty fun after we understand how we works. After all, we had only four races until now, so i think is pretty early to decide if we like it or not.

The way I see it with your rider, from i what i saw until now:
1.As long as a rider is not setted as an attacker, he will not get out of the peloton, doesn't matter how powerfull his skill is 2.Regarding the sprint points and the finish, it only counts the type of land the sprint is on and the sprint skill. 3.If the attack is not successful, then the riders continue to stay in the peloton. I believe from what i've seen until now that also for attack it depends on the type of terrain the attack is on. For the last race, my hill expert, bought from you, has been set to attack in three points. Luckily, the second attack was succesfull.
In the race you are talking about, the end was on flat. Therefore, if you had more riders coming at the same time, sprint and flat would matter, not your rider's huge skill.
So what i believe, is that in order to increase your chances to win the races, you should have attacked at every beginning of hill. Another bad point at the moment is there is no report on succesfull attacks.
I might be wrong, but from what i've seen, i think this how it works.
