rarau, come on mate. Recent result from both cyclists (Batata - Stoichita) in ITT Bourg d'oisans last season
Both won this stage, so I assume both at 100%: Stoichita 33:04, Batata 31:38, Nieberg 30:45 (div 1.1), Goga 30;26 (div 2.1)
the only thing you can now discuss about is that this was a Mountain TT. But still, you are more then 2mins behind over only 16km's. I never believe that Stoichita is close to, or even better, then Batata

nice one poekie, congrats. Can anyone tell me exactly how the final sprint is calculated? Is it sprint x2 + skill# of the final sector?
chakra; nice to see you looking at me as a favorite, but I am really not. I have a few good cyclists, but I will lose too many points against the others just because my squad is so age balanced. The younger ones are just not ready to compete against the 30+ guys from the other teams. In the classics you earn 100pnt/win, then it goes fast in the GC when teams are close to each other
as I said, keep an eye on Arsenal. Good squad, good manager with experience

Yeah, like who??
Baumann and van Rumst (2.1) are both high 15 in TT i think, both 2.5m TV and earn around 25k/week. Gheeraert is a 14 i thought. Much depends on your negotiation skills
I knew Batata, i saw his results last season. I am not surprised. Congrats. I agree with melres, batata and nieberg are the best TTs in the game at this moment

nice win for Joop, for me and what I have all seen so far (and heard:p) he is my #1 candidate; certainly after his last buy Arsenal with Strauss and now Szekely, and Headcase with his better/older guys will do good as well

hi guys, welcome. I know a few new faces, have talked with chakra before, quiller is a familiar face and Dan has also been in my league before. Glad to have you back guys Chakra, i have been following you since our battle in 2.2. Sad to see van gunst leave the game, I was curious to see what he could do in 2.1. Poekie, Toss and DRL ring a bell, but we havent met before I guess? You guys will add massive experience to this league. Punkska, thnx for the stats btw. Nice overview. I'm glad to see that there are not many fitness trainers. Gik uses it only on his older cyclists in tours, and quiller doesn't use it anymore I think? correct me if i'm wrong.
I will be an exciting season. No real favorite for me. My team is rather young, don't see me fighting for promotion, but that depends also on the opponents. Joop, Sparta, headcase, Punkska, Gik, they all have good riders who can win stages. Question will be to see who has the most balanced and experienced squad, able to score week after week. Unfortunately I noticed Cormier leaving as well. He's also a victim of the brutal update. Hopefully bosky can cope with that?. Anyone else lost someone?

Interesting... So now it's up to us to discover the importance of form I suppose? Find out the difference in performance between a 4 form and a 10 form
Can you give us some details about that or is it up to us to find it out ourselves? I mean, is it possible that a mountain 16 with 4 form loses a race against a 12 mountain with 10 form for example? Or is this way too drastic?

A couple seasons ago towerriders did even better, he came from 4th DIV, and went straight to DIV 1. I even think 3 DIV wins in a row... but then he retired

yes mike, it will be:-) I was worrying to be honest, thought you weren't able to catch me anymore. In the end you get what you deserve. It was frustrating for me to hold my horses back in the last couple of races. Think I could gain some nice results, maybe even wins. But let's hope I will not regret it. Good luck in 1.1

headcase, from my experience, I find those numbers merely an addition. I don't think that they are reliable. Like injuries, every cyclist has a different % change in his algorythm to become injured. I think it's the same with crashes, every cyclist has a different % chance to get involved in a crash. Just my thoughts

Mike, 18mountain, what do you think? there aren't that many teams with a cyclist like that. I think he can even win at normal fitness :xo

Mike, i will be honest. I stopped playing after the vuelta because of some reasons: First, my team will not be competitive. My oldies still took many points, and another season is just a bridge too far for them. I might even lose them after the update. If not, they will become weaker and weaker Second: if you win all 3 tours in one season, you are ready for promotion. I told you before, If you believed in your chances from the beginning you would have been 2nd, maybe even 1st now in GC Third: cavaco deserves his chance in 1.1. Like Elgringo says, its now, or never for him. Let him race against Timm and others And fourth, the engine stays the same next season where i hoped to have better chances with the new version. See De waen in last weeks fun race. So there goes my plan, and with that, my ambition
So, i wasnt planning on telling this, but now you now. I will continue not playing anymore (what a weird sentence:)) and hope you take that well deserved 2nd spot. Some may think this is rather unfair, but look at the wins in the GC. WcVroOom is clearly not the 2nd best team.

congrats mike, Cavaco is simply the best cyclist in this div this season. I even think one of the best in the game at the moment:-)

you are probably right ab, maybe the words were harder then his intensions. I have to agree that the English language is different for everyone. And maybe arrogant was not the perfect word to describe my feelings, let's say I missed some respect towards Toss. I was surprised by the way he reacted cause I've always known that you guys answer in a modest and respectful way
Case close for me.
