I won't give up! Thks for the support. It will be hard to do it. My better cyclists will be fit from next week on. So we'll see what happens. It would be the first time (for me) to win 10 stages and 2 jerseys and relegate... But there is a first time for everything, isn't there?

Well I am planning to win the remaining u21 races and maybe snatch some extra points in the TT. I will win the youngster jersey in Britain, but probably not in the Vuelta. The 1 day races in the last week will be most difficult for me, since I can hardly get any points there with my youngsters.

Very important two days to come in the Vuelta… I have a feeling De Waen can win the Vuelta here, but my favorite at this moment might be Kuzemchak...

Very important two days to come in the Vuelta… I have a feeling De Waen can win the Vuelta here, but my favorite at this moment might be Kuzemchak... Indeed. A very important stage today with 90 MO km (even 35km at 15%). Differences might be high today. From the top 5, De Waen will probably be the only one not starting the 3rd week at 100%. And with the last stage in mind, that might be a huge handicap. The current fitness of Kuzemchak might indeed be the key to victory. Heddins might save energy today to go for the last stage, so he'll lose some time today. But impressive that he's still there in the GC. And for the stage win: Govoni (Low budget cycling): 56kg, 99% fitness, looks ideal for this raceprofile. Also Brassard (WC VroOom) and Melodia (JOOP Cycling Team) are in good shape.

The 1 day races in the last week will be most difficult for me, since I can hardly get any points there with my youngsters. I have no doubt about that. I'm pretty sure you will win those races. (Nice trainer you got!) Of course then I will be second. I hoped Grilo would win in Quebec, but unfortunately he did not. He had a flat tire. You pick some points in the Vuelta too. So I guess I will be 9th by the end of the week or not later than next week. I hope to find some points in the single stages. (Hopefully top 3's) Wish you good luck Tossy, and lots of succes with your youngsters.

Some strange tactics today. Very strange to see Kuzemchak (JOOP Cycling Team) save energy today. Now he has 95% fitness left with only a flat race to come this week. Is that because he wants to attack tomorrow at 80%? Because of that, his GC is over and some precious mountain points are gone. Off course, he'll still take the mountain jersey in the last race. Heddins (Low Budget Cycling) surprisingly went all in, stealing the victory from his teammate Vilalobos. He now even is the proud GC leader! But with only 45% fitness left, it might become hard to make the podium (which is still a nice performance for a 28y old). Renuart (Quiller Boys) in pole position now. I lost a YJ candidate today with Agafitei. He lost about 18m on Loontjens (who has about the same skills) because off a stupid fall in the beginning. Instead of attacking from the peloton, he was behind and the rest of the race he got stuck in the peloton because all those small 5km parts (which make it impossible to leave the group without an attack). That's an expensive fall.

Todays flat will be the key. IF Renuart doesn't lose time on rios / de waen he will come very close BUT I fear the flat parts...

Renuart didn't make the steep downhill part. Heddins (Low Budget Cycling) went full again, leaving him at 10% fitness. Did he think the Vuelta finished today? Kuzemchak and Melodia (JOOP Cycling Team) end the week at 94% fitness. This way, only De Waen is left as possible opponent for Rios.

OK Alesana u can stay in second. I WILL relegate. Sorry to see Renuart getting injured. WTF! You still got VDM on position 15 with 80% fitness. I am nowhere in the rankings. Still got 60 pointsgap to close.

Renuart and ruytjens btw... and … Renuart got injured in mountain part... He had a fall there? ? Injuries are way to high in this game. A fall should give more time loss, but less injuries in my opinion.

quiller, it is also about a hidden talent of your rider to get hurt. To that respect, you did an awfull choice in training Ruytjes as one of your leader. Some seasons ago in 3:2 I have noticed as well that he deserves the nickname: "the man of glass". Seems it did not improve much: Date Type season 10/25/2019 INJ Injured for 2 weeks (during race). 24 9/13/2019 INJ Injured for 1 weeks (during race). 24 8/9/2019 INJ Injured for 1 weeks (during race). 24 8/2/2019 INJ Injured for 1 weeks (during race). 24 6/27/2019 INJ Injured for 2 weeks (during race). 23 6/5/2019 INJ Injured for 2 weeks (during race). 23 3/31/2019 INJ Injured for 2 weeks (during training). 23 12/25/2018 INJ Injured for 2 weeks (during race). 22 10/18/2018 INJ Injured for 2 weeks (during race). 21 10/2/2018 INJ Injured for 1 weeks (during race). 21 8/29/2018 INJ Injured for 1 weeks (during race). 21 8/9/2018 INJ Injured for 1 weeks (during race). 21 6/8/2018 INJ Injured for 1 weeks (during race). 20 2/1/2018 INJ Injured for 1 weeks (during race). 19 1/26/2018 INJ Injured for 1 weeks (during race). 19
