Finally he starts winning, congrats Mike. The race towards the safe spots has begun For me not much to Play for this week. Giving some youngsters experience, dont have the flat cyclists to be powerful in the classics. Tomorrow 24y old moretto will try his best
The new generation is taking over completely now. Chitul for example, won many races before, but has difficulties to remain in front of the peloton

Not the most impressive line-up. A lot of youngsters get the chance to get some experience. I'm curious to see the race result of Gent-Wevelgem. A lot of very long attacking points (the first already an immense 43km), maybe increasing the importance of the timetrialskill? Orye (Cycling Joop Zoetemelk) might already make the podium. I think Palomo (The Mothers of Invention), Ceccanti (Bolt Thrower) and Degrand (IAM Bardet) should be his biggest opponents. And maybe Vanlanduyt (SeMTeX) can surprise? Nanetti (Headcase Pro Cycling) might be getting to old to make the podium?
For my team, Venturelli can try to gather some points, but as he's only 28, I don't put any pressure on his shoulders.

Both Ceccanti and Degrand only rode at 85% effort (we'll see them again next week), leaving possibilities for the younger ones. The Mothers of Invention and Cycling Joop Zoetemelk prove why they are nr 1 and 2 in our division: even in the smaller races, they always have someone who can go for victory. I'm very happy with Venturelli's 5th place and impressed by Torres (Melres United) 4th place at 25y old!

Bosko: Who is gonna win the tour of flanders? I have a outsider for join the podium. We shall she! Seeing the startlist, I hope Guignard can get me a victory. Sabia seems to be his biggest opponent indeed. Also Derriso (Bolt Thrower) might make the podium. Even more youngsters than yesterday (while it's a race with a huge win bonus), so some of them can surprise and make top 5.

I hope I can take 'some' points today (top 5 would be great)… But because of it i can not use Urbina next week... Oh well... We'll see.

I'm quite happy with my 5th rank for 29 year-old Argyle Derriso. He is 2 years younger than the youngest of the other 6 cyclists that were in a 5 minute range. So maybe he may be good enough for some victories in Div 2 in about 2 seasons.
I still would be glad to find 1 or 2 ~35 year-old additions to my team ... but there isn't so much on the transfer market at the moment.
So maybe I have to wait till my invest in Argyle pays off.
Yeah, and I hope that saving Ceccanti for next week will pay off for my team. There are several races that would fit his skills in the next week.

Another small tour before we go to the "Classics Week". Hard to predict who will go for stage and who for GC. Important GC contenders I see: Coquet (Cycling Joop Zoetemelk), Ioveanu (SeMTeX), Michaux (Headcase Pro Cycling), Devos (IAM Bardet), De Waen (WC VroOom). KS Crusaders also seems to have a strong overall team.

Did we all notice that Luciano Zampella stayed with Joop for 15 days, scoring a 18th and a 20th place in a stage. And was sold again with more than 2M profit to CSC?
Joop, how do you do that?

Yes, noticed that too. What a profit! I guess the salestalk did it . Oké: the facts: Dustin his form owner (Zampella) hè dont't know about his FA. Also his moraal was very low. That's was his reason to sell him. Dustin wasn't sure of his FA was good or not. (I believe it was good or average) I have train him 2 weeks (+1) and i'am sure his FA was very good! I have learn a lot about FA, from experience managers like Ab Normaal and the others. I'am sure it is a good rider for lower division's.. Off course the price was to high, i have paid 1 miljoen for a good skilled rider. (it is a fair price) i know his moraal will get reset.

How much did he gain in the 2 weeks? 0,1, 0,2 or 0,3? But indeed, it was a good cyclist for the lower divisions. Can cause a lot of Harm there
For pays vasco i am going to play Nicolaie for the GC. See how far he can get at his 30. I noticed sikkes was in so i changed tactics. Need some more tt before i can compete i think. Van gend for YJ and de waen for sunday stage

Pays Vasco:
Ioveanu for GC, saved his fitness today but managed to finish in the peloton wit a +10:49 timing. So all is going well uptill now. 23y old Branco dit well today, ended 11th at +5:29 and got us a handfull op points.. Tomorow leader Eminesco will have a go at it. He get's very few chances because he's leader, he'll be glad to have the chance tomorow.
