You see? With one stage you can win all jerseys. Congratz to Naspa that this is definitely a mistake in the calander. Helder, For next sason we have to adjust the calae dat to make this impossible.

Thanks. I actually made a mistake. I wanted to go "all in" with Albusel yesterday, but put him only on 75% effort. I noticed there was not so much resistance- so i decided to give him an extra chance today. It did not matter for the jerseys however- Ramos took them all. He was set as GC man and was maybe the best? But we never will be sure, because he used 20% more effort than Hinguant -who might have felt maybe a bit intimidated by losing 2 minutes yesterday (while Ramos was set already at 5% higher effort).

You did good and had the best tactics. I probably better would have gone just for the stages. Custodio is a DH specialist and maybe he would have won the stage then.
So you had better tactics and deserved to win. I only hate it that I don’t ein a jersey. This way my riders will never gain mood. There is always one oldie partcipating who takes the jerseys.

Congratulations Naspa on Ramos his performance. He was the best allround rider and deserved GC. Didn't think Hingant could hold it the final stage. Not really suited for him. Better save some fitness for following races/tours and be happy with 2nd.

Better save some fitness for following races/tours and be happy with 2nd. Thanks! Well, Hingant did take several minutes on Ramos in the first stage. However I used only 1 attack point on him by then. While Ramos his sprint is far better than that of Hingant. But Hingants climbing abilities are way superior. However, Croatia is strange, with mixed terrain and a lot of ap's. An all rounder with decent DH seems to have an advantage on a typical GC-rider. Celebrations today in the riders Hotel of Naspa. I fear it will be much more quiet next week. Btw. What will it be tomorrow? Another great classic. Luik-Bastenaken-Luik. Naz at 85% effort? Seems that the race is more in favor for a good allround rider with a solid skill in hill instead of excellency in mountain. One of Ab's new stars? A few seasons ago I would say it might now be a race for De Gryse or Belluzzo, but they had their action recently already.

De Gryse and Belluzo are hill specialist. Their mountain skill is, I think, not sufficient enough to win. Therefore I gave them a chance in races that suited them better. Tomorrow I’ll go for Olivetti who is an allrounder. He won’t win, but I am curious how big the difference wil be with Naz. I expect Naz to go on 85% and I sure hope taht the difference will not be too high against my rider on 100%.
So hopefully a top 6.

Don't know what to expect tomorrow and you guys are right Naz will go at 85% with only 4 attacking points.
Full effort will go my new hill specialist after Nistor retirement, so lest see what he can do.

Hmmm, do you all think this is a race for a hill specialist? I estimated a race for allrounders because I think the 21 km mountain are going to have a huge impact.

Well, congrats to Quiller's boys, with an impressive double. It seems it are not the hill specialists that are winning here today and neither do the climbers. Bienert has very good flat skills, as I recall. And even allrounder Banciu beats Naz at 85 fitness as well- probably because of being above average on flat as well?

wrong naspa... banciu (85%) has allround skills BUT too high weight so he is absolute hill and flat specialist... My believe is that banciu is second because at crucial parts he could follow bienert (100%) (allrounder with a very good flat and hill but absolute more then decent mediocre at mountain) and so take an advantage on naz (and because of that i let him attack at last point for a good position - so it was tactics that gave me a double here (but talent (bienert) for the win) a very good race to go out of 2017 )
