Because lack of time, the TOUR DE FRANCE and TOUR OF BELGIUM have become vacant again !! Who wants to create races for one or both tours ??

I'll try and knock out some TDF stages you might as well have a big pool so you can vary the Grand Tour route and character each season. Thought Schizm might have completed every stage for the last 20 years by the time I boot up the app.
I was looks at creating the Alp d'Huez ITT from a few years back but there isn't much you can do with a profile of only 20km when the min interval size is fixed at 5km.
If this was smaller for TT course it would have been nice.

I will base the stages for the TDF on the route of 2012 (which is not completely online yet) and 2011, I guess some extra (mountain ?)stages from years before that will be welcome.

There are allready a lot of mountainstages in the Giro and Vuelta and hardly any sprinters stages....in the Tour it's a little bit beter, but compared to the rl number of sprintstages it's still not much. To get a better balance there should be less mountainstages imo, although the TdF is the best balanced round of the 3.

But you can't make the Tour more flat in the new calendar than it is now. Unless that would be compensated by more mountain stages in other tours or classics.

There are only 2 flat stages in the TdF (1st and last stage), 2 hillstages (stage 3 and 4), 2 TT's en 5 mountainstages. In the Giro there's not a single flat stage and in the Vuelta only the last stage. I don't see any reason to get even more mountainstages. The "problem" in the current RE is that the differences in the flat stages are too huge, but as i understood that would be solved in the new RE. It's normal that climbers rule the GC, but it's also normal that sprinters have their chances in the grand tours.

But it is not normal to give certain trainers an advantage in the new calendar.

Exactly, so the advantage that mountaintrainers have right now should be corrected.

Exactly, so the advantage that mountaintrainers have right now should be corrected. The advantage that mountaintrainers have now, was already known at the start of the game, so shouldn't be corrected. (Normally that would mean that you will have more mountain- than flattrainers, so the points in the flatstages can be distributed among less teams. If that is not the case, then chosing a flattrainer wasn't the best decision.)
