If you consider shortening the season you should also consider increasing training speed. But I don't think the season should be shortened because I don't have time to set up my team every day for the race. I think other users are in the same situation as me.

You don't have to give in your orders every day, just do it for 2-3 weeks at once. I don't make a lot of changes, only if one gets injured during training I replace him, or if a guy falls and loses a lot of time I put him at 100% for the next race so he can try to win. But the most of my decisions stay as they are...

But this might change once the new race engine is introduced. I have the feeling that this might take a bit more time to set proper tactics...

I hope the fitness management will stay clear as it is now. So that it can be planned exactly when a cyclists has which fitness... I think fitness is still the aspect that asks the most time for selecting cyclists, together with their stats off cours. (But I know the stats of my cyclists, so I don't have to search that up every time )

Don't like the idea of shortening the season.
That' just the fun of the game! The excitement of waitng for the race-day!
Deal with your nerves and patience!
Too many changes = more bot teams

Too many changes = more bot teams +1 and by the way we need a life so no to short the season like IP said in hattrick are 2 matches per week not 14 if you have too much time then do transfers on peloton or read a book.

Peloton is a game for the more patient gamers and it should stay so. I think that a shorter season might attract more players, but that way it might get more repetitive. Besides, that way you are 'forced' to be online almost every day.

I like too the way it is, but why not make diferent calendar to diferent Divisions?
Example:
Div 3 - the current calendar Div 4 - a diferent calendar only keeping the big tours, putting tour of Australia, Malasya, Tour de Algarve, Tour of Germany, England and Portugal, etc...

I dont agree with kurtinsc's sugestion. IMO, all manager games should be designed that way that a user can stay 12 hrs/day or if he wants 10 minutes/day and still have good results. I think a tutorial for begginers would be nice. In every page of the website will appear a box with some tasks (for example the first task of the tutorial: buy a coach and set your players training). Users will get a little reward for every task ($ 10 000). This tutorial will be a fast/easy way to learn the basics of the game. Many users don't read the Wiki/Manual of the game. I agree with this (even though you're saying you disagree with me). But right now, unless you are in the transfer market, you really need to only log in for 10 minutes a week. If you get lucky with injuries, you can log in once a month and be okay. It needs to get to the point that logging in daily is something people get drawn into immediately and becomes a routine. From my experience with sports simulation games online (and I've done a lot of them, though this is my first one regarding cycling), that's the key. You have to get people to desire to log in once a day. If you don't even have a race result every day... how is that going to happen?

thats exactly the point. You only need 10 minutes per week to be successfull, cos you dont have that many tactical options to think about. Most fun at the moment is to manage fitness properly.
i have never played hattrick but i guess if u have only 1 game per week, u can probably think 30 minutes for the tactical choices u have.
I play another manager and we have 2 games per week. For important games i need to think about 30 minutes before i can set my tactics right.
anyhow i love this game and i would love to have some more races per week. especially during grand tours (cos u dont have to manage fitness their too much).

I tried to launch the idea to have some days with more than 1 race. Like during the Tour de France, you'd have some other races going on. This way a team with 25 riders will still have to carefully select which riders to use with what fitness. Now having the 25 riders pretty much makes fitnessmanaging alot less important. Also a team that can't compete in the big tours, might use his a-squad in the b-races. But I guess this is a very hard thing to do.
