I would like to suggest a change to Cyclist History, namely the feature to put in when the cyclist (= date) started their career. This way people could see if the cyclist was a recent Youth Pull or from a recently started team or if the cyclist has been riding around for a season or two.
I find this to an interesting fact when considering riders on the transfer list, and I don't think it's TMI to give away for free.
I'd like to hear your thoughts about it.

If it's not too much trouble to implement, yes, why not?

Not to hijack a topic... But could it also be possible to have a possibility to keep history of a cyclist that retires? - Win history - Last stats - possibility to make him a new trainer or youthscout perhaps (maybe with a very small bonus if he was more then 10 season a member of your team)?

Keep datas is expensive because we would need a bigger base for that. During this christmas period I deleted all stats from old riders without teams and also all old riders without team, they were about 65000. About your last suggestion I like it remembers me Hattrick, for that we need to check the code if is possible but seems a great idea to make one of our stars a trainer when he get 37y. Frank is the one working witht he code so he is the one that can clarefy this

Thx that you like the last suggestion (and yes i got the idea from hattrick years ago... About the data (i understand that if u keep everything it is a lot of data, but what we need is a connection for people with their team... And that might just do that trick... Maybe not keeping all the data, but name, age and victories? I would say : let your old riders form your fan club

You could make a house of fame for each team, where you could put cyclists in when they decide to retire. Make it a Max of 10. That way it would not be a big database. You could even pick your trainer from there (only the name)
