I hope it won't be a complete game over for me during next weeks... There is a lot of mountain stages in which I'm doing really bad. I've tried to do some costs reduction last days but I'm not sure if it will be enough to survive.

@pk: I see you've a huge wage cost for your cyclist. But with your green jersey wins (congratz btw), I'm pretty sure you will survive. Buckeyes didn't perform so well in Pologne. He's better in the TdF. I wonder what the Div standings will be after the TdF. Only ~100 points between 2 and 3 and ~180 points between 2 and 4.
The rest of the season for me means fullfilling contracts so the results won"t be very good. Just staying in top 4 I hope.

Thanks chakra. Yep, the wages are the one of the things with which I was struggling recently. I've managed to lower some of them, but there are a few cyclists (including Jacxsens and Cosmescu) with a way too high wages. The problem is that if I'd break their contracts to lower the wage I'll have to pay about for $150k each of them. Now I'm close to be in red. I have to look a bit more into my finances and find some solution. Otherwise I'll have to sell some cyclists...

A little advice. If you break their contracts they will be on the market! And proposing a new one will lead to even higher wages. So, you'll be stuck with this. If you renewal the contracts of cyclists you can allways negotiate and not accept the contract. After a few times the cyclist will decrease in mood and ask less. Off course the prestations of the cyclist will decrease a little bit too. So it's a bit of a discuss with the cyclist. Often I negotiate till the mood has dropped to "OK" or "satisfied": result lower wages and higher bonus for stagewin and jerseys.

Thanks for advice chakra I wrote a bit unpricesely - by "breaking their contracts" I've meant dropping their mood below ok and choosing the option to break the contract, pay the breaking fee (~150k) and sign a new contract for 45 weeks with a much lower wage (e.g. 9,5k instead of 38k). And the TdF is over. Second green jersey in a row (the one and only benefit from the final standings for me ), but unfortunately it doesn't mean at all that I'm financially safe during coming weeks I'll probably have to sell some cyclists to stay alive. It was close to win in Paris, but Czerniak - my former rider (argh! ) - won it. Congratz

Lets have another overvieuw of standings.. looking quite different nowadays:
Looks like De Scheefspuiters is going to win this season. Team buckeyes is being hunted down by ALESANA SeMTeX lost big time by loosing touch with the top 3 PK is slowly getting away from MOI The rest remains quite the same
1. De Scheefspuiters 2577 2. Team buckeyes 2223 3. ALESANA 2108
4. SeMTeX 1947
5. PK Cycling Team 1659 6. The Mothers of Invention 1531 7. Snake Milano 1337 8. Warner Bros Racing 1295 9. the zwemmers 1200
10. Festina Watches 784 11. gegevert 652
12. Polase Sport 488

And the zwemmers is crawling to WB out of the red zone. He was way back, but has started his swimspurt now. And looking to the final stage in Pologne (Zakopane) it was a weird final. I thought Minuta or Lonaies would win this race not de WaaL. But I'm not complaining.
And the gap between 3 and 4 isn't that big. As I told you top 5 is good for me. Portugal and certainly the Vuelta will be a big question. Fullfilling contracts with lesser cyclists...

And another win for Jean-Pol Brouillet. He closes the gap with buckeyes up to approx 80 points. :-) Mountain Jersey is save, Points Jersey not. Points Jersey will certainly go to another cyclist. One of PK? De scheefspuiters heading for the Portugese Time Jersey?
And again no points for RC ?? Hey where are you? Stick on my wheel man. It's just pushing your pedals.
