We had a pretty even league last season after #1 (who ran away with it) and #12 (who was a bot all year).
Every team won 2 races at a minimum, and all the returning 3:1 teams finished within a 1000 point window.
I'll let others decide what to share about their teams, but mine was a stage hunting squad last season. Won 13 stages and 1-days last season (3rd in the league after the two that promoted) but only 1 jersey (a mountain jersey in the last 2 weeks of the season). I need at least one more season of training the "correct" skills (at least I hope they're correct) before I can fight for promotion. Right now I'm just looking ot hang on to another 4th-6th place finish going forward.
It is good to see another US team in the same division. I think that's a first for me.

RC - Team SeMTeX
First of all, I'm hoping this section of the forum will be an active one. Last year nobody reacted here (4:1) As for my hopes... Surviving in 3:1 would be nice, winning a few races would be great. It's hard to guess how well I'll do because of all the new teams. I know PK Cycling Team because we competed together last season in 4:1. He was about 2000 pts ahead of me.
I have a youthscout so I'll be focusing on getting my team some youngsters wich also means selling a few other cyclists. This will weaken my position but in the long run make my team stronger.
Good luck to all
RC

I can't do it every morning... sometimes I'm out of the house before the sim and I don't have access to "game" related sites from work either. But I don't mind throwing it up here when I can.
And I'm ticked you won that one. I thought it was a good one for Seabra... he's my most versatile rider (7 flat, 7 mountain, 7 hill, 5 sprint, 3 downhill). He's not going to win on any stage that's just 1 terrain, but he does well on stages like this one... I thought with the mostly flat and mountain attack points and the hill finish that if I could get him to the line with the lead group, he'd likely have a hill advantage over whoever else was there and his 5 sprint would be enough.
Ah well.

I think the downhill did it in this race..
Total distance: 143km
Flat: 55km Hill: 5km Mountain: 25km Downhill: 58km
Diamond is a 6 flat, 5 hill 2 mountain 6 downhill 6,25 sprint 5,75 TT

Don't think the downhill would have mattered in the final sprint. It probably works without considering downhill... if it's still 2xsprint + terrain... then it would be 12.5+5 = 17.5 for Diamond and 10+7 = 17 for Seabra... so it makes sense for Diamond to win it. I was wagering on nobody with a good hill score going with the break on a non-hilly day (except for the last 5km).

Hi guys, I just wanted to say "hello" as we'll be in the same division this season - yes, a bit late but I had some problems with my web access and I missed the 1st race. As RC wrote, we've competed in 4:1 last season. It's also nice (or... maybe not so nice now ) to see that 2 of my ex-riders - Czerniak and Slowik - are doing nice Good luck to you all!

Welcome to 3:1 you all. As the first week has passed, I'm rather satisfied with the results. RC taking the lead. I know he came from 3rd where he battled for promotion. Unfortunately relegated to 4th Div. So I'm pretty sure he will be in 2nd Div next season. As for my team (ALESANA, as you can see on the left) I hope to win a few races and ending at the top 8. Good luck you all.
