The Tour de France was a big disapoint to my team. I though that I would win with my rider 7-2-11-1-2-2 and he didn't have a chance. I am still waiting for Nikeboy answer related to the last mountain stage jf_Taffonneau congratz for your tactic and for your first Yellow Jersey. You played very well indeed. Can you share the mountain/TT skill of your winning rider? I hope I can finish this week with some victorie to glad my day I hunger for Vuelta and to make a better performance. Sorry ElG for this late reply ; very short time to spend on Peloton this week Well, you're gonna be a bit surprised, Vander Benken is only 6-3-6 / 2-5-1 more precisely he is 6.4-3.6-6.9 / 2.6-5.5-1.6. I don't know why his results are always much better than expected . I have 1 other cyclist like that. Do you know if CA (Current Ability) is still an invisible skill used in the version 2 of the game? I thought it was only used for youthscout. Thanks for congratz for our very first victory in a Grand Tour ElG

Its a proof that a good tactic could make a difference. Do you know if CA (Current Ability) is still an invisible skill used in the version 2 of the game? I thought it was only used for youthscout. No I don't know.

No I don't know. Well, not to butt in but I've found in my leagues that weight on the mountains makes a much bigger difference then I though. I have a fairly low mountain guy who hung on in the mountains in the Giro at 51kg, while a guy 2 points higher in mountain but at 77kg was dropped several times. His 6-mountain guy was 52kg... so that could help explain things.

Besides he was unable to follow the top riders in the Giro . Moreover: - he is not 6 but almost 7 - he manages his fitness to be high before the mountain stages - he rode the last mountain stage at a 100% effort - as mentioned by kurtinsc he is very light. Anyway I have other riders pretty light but that one seems to have something special. Today the tour of Portugal, this time you are at home ElG

My rider that finish 2dn is similar(skills) to Vander Benken and I should bet on him instead of my top mountain guy.

I only regret not bet in Nistor for last mountain stage, my fault Yes today he have the "Volta a Portugal" for the first time in game. Its nice as portuguese so see that. I created the stages and I already told Nikeboy that is missing one mountain stage. He have here 2 mountain stages that are classics in Portugal I will trie to win all stages and to get the yellow jersey too.

My favourites for the Vuelta are:
- Becerro from Montezelo - Lemius from Montezelo - Blice from Melres - Amrom from Berserk
If I made the favourites before the TTT I would put too:
- Comasema from TGV - Fabbro from Signs of Destiny - Guala from Signs of Destiny

Indeed, TTT and ITT are making to much difference against mountainstages! I'm riding with only 4 riders, due to a bug (I sold a rider that was expected to ride as TL in Vuelta) After he was sold, I couldn't change my team anymore :-( I will go for a stage win than, because classification is impossible with the ITT to come ;-)
Good luck y'all

It seems that the victorie of Montezelo is already in his hand but I still think that some rider can win that time.
Blice, Amrom, Bochinsky and Bregge are riders with >11M so in the last stage a good attack can take that time to riders with 8/10M
