Something must change, this is impossible, my rider is playing the TdF and was 1st in classification, how could he get injured in a training???
Massimo Favre was injured during training. He will be out for 1 weeks. Injured: Broken finger Cause: his finger somehow got stuck in his front wheel.
I'm not happy with this situation and I belive many managers had situations like this.
A rider cannot be injured by training when he is playing a tour.

sorry , technically speaking this is not a bug so I moved it to suggestion.
I understand the frustration, I had a simular thing happening last season.
A rider can not get injured on training in a tour because he does not train when riding a tour, but that would also mean he could not gain any trainingprogress . At least if you stay consequent in your thinking.

As much as I can understand your anger: You made a management decision to let your cyclist train in spite of that he's 1st in the tour. You could have had him excluded from training. Bad luck ... but your risk and your mistake. Sorry!
I myself lost the 7th ranked of the TdF due to an injury today. And that vexed me, too. Often times I excluded cyclists with good positions in a tour from the sunday training to avoid any risk of injury. But this time I decided to let him train (if he were 1st, 2nd or 3rd I surely would have let him rest). Bad luck - but my risk, my fault.

That sucks EG (and Joe) I totally agree that injuries should be removed from the game (sorry, I'm repeating myself again and again), so things like this won't occur anymore. The influence on the game by this luck-factor is too much. It would also take away many frustrations.

I'm sure Andy Schleck, Chris Horner, Fabian Cancellara, Levi Leipheimer, Johnny Hoogerland and many many more would agree with you. Injuries suck, but they have a place in a cycling game. I'm just thankful we don't have career-ending injuries, or season-ending injuries. And you should definitely consider pulling tour leaders out of your Sunday training rotation. I've only had a couple of those happen, but they really sting! It's one reason I always have a 26+-man team - that way I can always fill 25 training slots.

This game has almost no random effects, everything is related to the cyclist's skills and stats. Injuries and flats are necessary to make everything less predictable. Removing injuries at all is out of the question. A sports (management) game without injuries? That's just silly
