Hello, I am from Latvia and it looks like that I am the only user from my country. Anyway I just wanted to wrote that if you are interested that I could make the list of Latvian names and surnames, because this game don't have them and are used other nationality names and surnames for my Latvian cyclists. So if you are interested, then let me know I could help out with it!

I guess I can speak in IPs name when saying that your help would be appreciated.
I can tell because I've done it myself 5 months ago for the German names:
Just compile 2 different text file lists. One with first names, one with last names. Each line shall only contain exactly one name. Send the to IP. As soon as he will find the time he'll upload them.

Thank you for your response! How many names and surnames is needed? Will around 100 names and 100 surnames be enough? And is there support of special letters which Latvian language have? For example "â", "ì", "þ" and others? Or only latin english letters are supported?

Sorry, I'm not sure. I know that there aren't problems with the German umlauts ä, ö, ü and ß. I relayed your question to IP. But it seems he's really very busy with more important RL stuff at the moment. I can guess that it should work with the one or the other way because I - again - do guess that the database is unicode anyway. And I furtherly guess that IP would be clever enough to bring your lists as Latvian (which ISO code is Latvian in?) into his data base. But sorry: In the end this are only guesses. We should be patient with IP who brought us this interesting game for free

If german letters are supported, there is a big chance that latvian letters are also accepted. I suggest you to write with latvian characters the names. If this characters aren't supported it's easy to replace them with letters from the latin alphabet. I think that 100-150 names are enough, but for surnames I'd do more (300).

Hi edgars, the more names, the better of course I suggest to have at least 150 names of each. As for the files: first and last names should be in separate files. These can be just a txt files, with a name on each line. Normally all characters are supported You can just mail the files to me

OK, thank you for your responses, by the end of next week (16 - 22 April), I hope that both files with at least 150 names and surnames will be ready in txt format (could done them in one day or a bit longer period of time - depends on how much free time I will have) and then I will send them to you Il Padrino!
