As we all know, many teams have financial problems. I think this is because they pay way to much salaries. It's no exception that a team has a 20 skill trainer and a youthscout. Paying those two 300k is prettty normal. Most teams don't think about how they will pay those wages. The step is very small, just 10000 euros and you got a skill up. I would suggest to change that system. To make clear that a 20 skill trainer is expensive, the skill up from 19 to 20 should be way higher than from 10 to 11. As compensation the wage won't change that much. I hope that this way, the teams without big income won't get themselves into trouble.
In the next example I will consider a team with a trainer that has 15 flat, mountain or whatever. Now to have 16 weeks training with the highest possible skill it will cost you:
50878+65626+85127+111122+146016+193131*11=2583210 (wage)
10000*5=50000 (to train him from 15 to 20)
This makes a total cost of 2633210 each 16 weeks. As you see the 50000 they have to pay to train the trainer is very low compared to the wage. I would suggest a system like this:
Training
15=>16: 234k
16=>17: 318k
17=>18: 431k
18=>19: 582k
19=>20: 785k
And the wage something like skill*10000. So a 20-trainer has 20k wage. This way a 20 skill trainer will cost 2605000 each 16 weeks. So the cost is pretty much the same, but managers will face the costs immediatly instead of seeing it to late. I don't know how to implent this, but first see if you think it's a good idea or not
I know that you can unlearn skilll, but most managers still think they can handle the wage of 200k from a 20 trainer. And unlearning a skill isn't something that gives you a good feeling
