Do bot teams still factor into race income?

I know there were some changes but I'll be honest, I don't really understand them.

The reason I ask is I was looking through the results of the latest Giro stage and saw a team that was not in our division (Telenet Fidea showing up in 5:24).

I clicked on the the cyclists and saw that most of them had no team or were retired.

So then I looked at our division and saw a new "named" team there (cs stratovarius 01).

So I figure one of the bot teams entered got replaced by a human team instead of one of the many not entered in the race... which is no big deal as long as that doesn't mean it impacts race income. If it does... then shouldn't it have replaced a bot team NOT in the race?

When a bot is replaced, no checks are performed to see if the bot is participating in a tour.

You're right, when there are still other bots available that aren't in the tour, it'd be better if one of those gets replaced.
