Which version is correct? The English or the Dutch? 10% or 25%?
At the end of each race, 10% of the total distance is driven with the sprint skill of the cyclists and also a little bit of the skill corresponding to the profile of the terrain.

I'm citing the Races section of the wiki:
Weight: only counts for hill, mountain and downhill; each kilogram less than the maximum (100kg) adds + 0.2% in the skills mentioned above. (Maximum 10%)
Is this correct? In RL I'd rather expect that in downhill more weight is better than less.
I'd rather have expected that in downhill each kilogramme above the minimum (50 kg) would add +0,2 % to the skill.

Just so you know, weight will have a different influence with the new RE. Depending on the slope, weight will have a bigger influence. Meaning: small hills -> low impact, steep mountain -> high impact. And the inverse for downhill.
We based it on an actual physics formula, although with slightly less influence of the weight as this is more of a secondary attribute of the cyclist.

Good info IP, but this begs the question: will our riders be able to gain or lose weight? maybe in the offseason.
Just like Bradley Wiggins last season who lost a lot of weight to have a chance of winning the Tour de France?

For the moment, weight is static.

If you want long and heavy cyclists still to have an advantage somewhere in the game and not become useless (except for downhill), the influence of low weight on flat should be negative (like it's now in the current race engine basicly).

For the moment, weight is static. OK, fair enough. Maybe in the future new RE 2?

According to the 'Points/money from races/tours' in a team time trial, the 13th team gets 5points ;-) didn't know where to put it, but thought it to be a litle wiki related.

Just so you know, weight will have a different influence with the new RE. The wrong information is still in the (Dutch) Wiki. More than three years now! I agree with Tubura: it needs to be updated. If the reason the info is outdated is that no one was willing to spend time to change it, I volunteer to do it (English + Dutch). I do need some help though (but I can ask it in the forums I guess).

I can't decide if this is the best place for it, but it's not worth a new topic really (we need a small / random questions topic maybe?) When a cyclist gets injured, why does he return to 100% fitness? I can't see the logic. In the case of short injuries, the cyclist can often be fit again quicker than he'd be otherwise. (In this case it's Iorga and now he's fit for the last week and I'm unleashing him on the full "angry" setting, so ehhh, it might work in my favour, but still..) I'm up for rewriting some of the English wiki, I just don't always know the correct information myself
