Why is there no mountain sprint at 1km from the finish in this stage? it sure looks like a mountain finish.

It seemed to me that the finish line was drawn on top of a small hill, NOT A MOUNTAIN... (+- same as in stage 1) grtz

I don't think so. It's just as steep as the other mountains, and steeper then the little hill at 160km.

the terrain is definitely mountain, but its a short stroke, if you set a mountainsprint, 1 km before the finish and take the 3 km (correct me if i'm wrong on this figure) of sprint that is calculated you probably start sprinting on the downhill section.

The third mountain sprint is also quite short... so in this stage it would have been beter: 2 mountain sprints. (the first and the second)

The third sprint should have been at the 125km spot instead of at 100 km.

The thrid mountainsprint is put on top of a hillsection on purpose ! Why ? Because from this season onwards the terrainskill is taken into account for the sprints and we also want to give hill trainers a chance A second reason is the total amount of hill in this tour. Since this is quite high it is only fair that one of the sprints is on a hill.
