I think so by giving him a low contract value.

you can not give lower wages to a cyclist or trainer.

it is possible te give your trainer a better contract i gave my trainer 8000 (he had a contract of 5890). He accepted the offer his mood is now pleased (better than content).
But i wonder, if your the mood of your trainer gets better (pleased) will he train better to?
