As it is implemented now the team standings are calculated after the last race just considering the 3 best cyclist in the general classment. This is an unusual way of calculating this classment.
Usually the best 3 cyclist are taken into account for each stage . So in the end the cyclist that help achieve the team standings could be different ones in every stage of a tour.

Well, this idea might have some potential  . Because, the team standings of course, i.m.o., have to represent the best teams in the tour. In your way the best team could possibly be the team with the worst general classification times at the end. On the other hand, in the current system you might not be the best team if 3 of your riders really suck in their secondaries (and for example every stages two of them fall), while the other two always end up in the first group. I don't have a good alternative yet, but I suppose you're right if you say that this system of team standings isn't totally right. |

i want to bring this back to IP attention.
First i thought it was i bug but it seems that is just a bad calculation.
The way it is now just give more points to the teams who play at general standings.
Please if isn't to complicate make this standings as it is real ciclism.
It will bring a little more tactical this standings.
