It's just strange that (in many divisions) the only cyclists that loose time, are the ones falling downhill. It doesn't make sense that falling on another terrain doesn't matter, but downhill it does. That I agree with you completely. That isn't realistic, but on the other hand, there are more things in this game not realistic. Nut you, one of the very best managers in the game, must admit that the best manager is the one who adapts the best to the rules of the game. I noticed it early last season and that is the one and only reason why I started to train downhill. And it worked. That is one of the things that can make you win the game. It isn't fair to take it away now, then everybody has to train downhill. If not, it is everybodies rightful choice. Just as it is mine that I refuse to train flat.

before the new engine when you select a tour (from calendar races) a new page appear with all the races from that tour. Now appear only the win bonus for the jerseys.
it will be nice that all the races from that tour appear under jersey price just like before.
thx

Small Suggestion: Keep TTT's to the first 2-3 stages of grand tours.
They generally do this in real life races too, because teams have more attrition as a race goes on. For us, I think an end of GT TTT can cause a bit too much of a gap in times due to varying levels of fitness.

I oriented my whole strategy for the Giro depending on the final TTT - and it worked out great.

Don't show the single cyclists but the teams in the result page of TTT.

I oriented my whole strategy for the Giro depending on the final TTT - and it worked out great. And that's fine. But if you bring 3 really good TT's to a race (your GC man and two helpers) to target the TTT, but the two helpers get injured (say stage 2 and stage 7), what then? The issue with the TTT (in real life) is that for it to be on even footing, the teams have to be largely complete, withough injuries and other withdrawals. So it always tends to be in the first 3-4 stages of a 20 stage race. The same logic really applies for a game like this. Having a GC guy eliminated from competition because two TT-centric helpers crash out isn't really a good thing in my opinion. It's not that I'm against TT-centric races on the schedule. It's not that I'm against a final TT deciding things. It's not that I'm against a long TTT having a big impact on the race. I'm for the occasional grand tour with a TTT and two ITT's. I just think the TTT should be early so that the teams tend to be complete and free of injury... just like in real life.

That's the reason that TTT tends to be in an early stage of the big tours in RL. Indeed this should apply in Peloton, too! Indeed I had a loss at the 2nd stage due to injury. I was surprised the more that my 4-man-team was sufficient for the final TTT. I accept the injury argument.

Injured Rider Recovery Message:-
It is easy to forget to re-include an injured rider in your training pool once he is fit again, especially if it is a longer injury.
Would it be possible for the game to send a message to the manager saying "[Rider X] has recovered from his injury" (similar to the reminder message for expiring contracts)?

But you no longer have to take injured cyclists off of the training at all! That has been changed several months before: Injured cyclists no longer count for training efficiency.

JoeLag - Yes, fair point, but you still have to remember to remove an extra rider that you have added to the training pool while the injured rider is lying dormant, or else the training efficiency will suffer when the injured rider recovers. I tend to remove the injured rider from the training pool altogether while temporarily training another rider so there is no risk of reducing training efficiency for the whole training pool, but then I have to remember to swap the 2 riders when the injured one recovers. It's not a big problem or anything, just a very small aid that the game could provide to managers. To be honest the riders I train temporarily like this at the moment are my worst riders that have got left behind from the rest of the squad, so I could train only 24 riders for a while with no great loss to the team. But there will come a time in the future when the best riders become too old to keep them in the training pool, but they are still used in quite a few races and would benefit from a bit of training here and there.

That's a point. For this sake you should be allowed to set up
1. a training order. Let's sort all cyclists in the order you want them to be trained. 2. the possibility to set how many cyclists you want to have trained (ranging from 25 to the total number of your cyclists)
Wouldn't be that hard to implement, would it?
On second thought: You should be allowed to set less than 25 as number of cyclists trained. Imagine a big tour where you purposely do not want to expose your top driver to the injury risk of a training.

Does anyone agree with me that it makes more sense for the U21 races to be re-named U20s, seeing as 21 yr olds can't take part. Maybe this matches cycling in real life, in which case I guess keep it, but I'm more used to the football system where age group games are the named age, and under. I might've just bought a 21 year old for use in tomorrow race, then found out I can't only cost 8k though, so no big deal.

Under 21 and until 21 both mean 21 is not included, so perhaps you can ask the football association to change it correctly

You really need to do something with the transfer list. I created my team 1 week before the end of the season and in the last junior race I didn't had any cyclist to compete with. On the transfer list juniors are so rare. I found only 1 cyclists that fits with my training plan. Bot teams sell only cyclists with more than 20 years.
How is a new team supposed to train in such a situation?
