Darn. The last downhill part was just a bit too long for Döring. Congratz to Retort, pollyjean! Battle for GC gets very interesting. Vinchent having 23 minutes now on Prates, but getting exhausted.

i really don't understand the gaps in stage like today's ... There are huge differences between attackers and others that i cannot explain regarding past years... I feel like the race engine is not the same as 2 seasons ago. Am i the only one ?
By the way, i think GS and polka dots is for Prates ! It will be hard for Vinchent to resist its come back.

Retort and Döring (50+ skill points, but really bad mooded all the time) were going full effort I guess and are strong riders on this terrain. It did not surprise me.
For Vinchent; maybe Elisa (Carapaz) will hire a fitness trainer?

Both are very good riders and their skills match todays terrain. Makes perfect sense to me.
And to me the favourite for Yellow is still Vinchent. Green too. Polka for Prates.

today: win is not possible, so it shall be sf for the guys without leader
in the giro also 4 guys at sf, but then the leader was at 85% then it was a nice 3th place
I hope now for top 5, and lost not to much time

Well, done carapaz . Pretty much the end of all GC dreams of others, I guess. Good second place for MothersOI with a young team. Thys will win YC now for sure if he stays on his bycicle. Curious abot the plans of dustin tomorrow. Colman and Beenen seems to be involved. Soria is starting but at 84%. VanBesien my favorite for now.

No surprises there. Happy with 5th place of Arbia - with only 4 attack points at 27 years and an ok mood, that is pretty ok. Good week for carapaz , congrats. Great rider Vanbesien, and he will become better and better.

Difficult choices to make. The u21 races: this week too much mountain for Herpoel. Next week too much flat. What to do? Tomorrow probably a Portuguese climber will win :-)
