So far so good. Ximenes shows good legs. Sad for Tavares and Stonier, I think only Timm in 1:1 is faster than our top 3. Tomorrow the ITT. Batata, Gheeraert and Naudts for the podium? It is only a short ITT. Ximenes should be able to keep position.
Van Nes and Orlandoni are cool again. Van Nes even helped Orlandoni win the sprint of group 11.

No surprise there, congratz to Batata! I am very happy with the Ximenes results. No stage win for him, but with places 5-2-3-2-3 I think he totally deserves yellow and green.
Today is not for me. Too much mountain in the the Classica San Sebastian. A quick scan on the starting list, results in the following prediction: 1. Petry (LEV) 2. Soria (MOI) 3. Bedos (CAR) or maybe Lalancette (DUS)

dustin . Wonderful line-up. Did you managed to sign Amara Secret? Good day for Carapaz in San Sebastian, double win! Impressive! Bedos and Gurard beating Soria. Even young Regueira (29 yrs, TGV) was better. Petry was not going all in, he will be start in the Tour De France on Sunday. Tommorow might be the first sprint this season that I do not win. Technical race on mixed terrain. I have an ok young sprinter, Thyméo, but he is now trained for flat (like most sprint races are). Most likely he will not be in the first group.

A little early because there's U21 today and dustin still has to show his selection (Coleman, Maury, Simon and -25?) but some favourites for the upcoming TdF.
Yellow and Green: Petry > Grande, Auge, Vandenbussche/Vinchent ? Polka dot: difficult to predict: Prates, Grande, Dell Agnello ?
Stages: Flat: Leao, Saltman, Goselinck, Retort, Döring, Kruydt TTT: Carapaz > Joachim ? Sprint: Cammozi > Eenman Mountain: Grande, Prates, Dell Agnello, Dereume, Vinchent > Van Grinsven Lebon Wautier

Well, that was a good day for me. Congratz to myself for having those two talented young riders. Was hoping for a win - but still, those u21 races are m any times totally crazy. Not much attack points, low/unknown skills and many flats and falls.
For the big tour, I guess my targets are again to win 2 stages. The sprint race at the end if Camozzi will be able to reach Paris, and one more race I demand from either Goselink or Döring. No ambitions for the yellow or mountain jersey. Even Green will go to someone who can climb I guess. For white I will try with Guidulli, but it will be evaluated day to day. It does not make sense to try too hard if some other youngster would be clearly better.

For the Big Tour:
Mothers: Hargraves and Van Grisven are the spearpoints. Thys for YC?
Carapaz: Vinchent and Gheeraert will make sure the TTT will be won. Wautier, Vandenbussche and Mechitbayeva either go for GC or stages.
Levy: Petry for yellow. Saltman and Stracciati for the (flatter) stages.
TGV: Prates, Prates and Prates. One rider but he counts for 3 in the mountains. Best climber this tour.
Dustin: Coleman for the flat stages, Simon, Fleubus and Maury will look for their chances. Maury maybe for GC as well?
PollyJean: Retort and Leonte for the flat-like stages, Dell'Angelo and Dereume for the the mountain-like stages.
Joachim: Leao will win tomorrow. Climber Grande might try for GC with support of Bricco. Eenman for the sprint.
ToursCC: we still wait for a good day of Beachell.
Devils: Lange for an intermediate stage, Auge for GC?
PanterasN: which young climber will impress us this time? Quintela, Raposo, Fernandes, Pequeno or De Nijs?
Naspa: not a bad team but in the wrong tour. Döring and Goselink for stages. Camozzi for the sprint. Guidulli for white.
VdGG: is no longer with us.

Beenen: "The plan was that I did the tour, so I raced this week at 80% to save enough energy. But after a last evaluation the plans changed, there come better races for me."
Coleman: "no tour for me, to many mountains"

Hey, Leao only at 85% effort and Hargraves and Saltman did not manage to drop Camozzi - and then it is a done deal in the sprint :-) That makes it a very good week for me!
Fraylich and Maury now for Dustin. Any more changes?
Have a good weekend update all!

today: 3 attackers, 1 with a fall (in the begin of the race), other 2 did well and take some time. Maury needed a calm race and get what he want, he finished in the main group.
