Van Bunnik got injured today. I hate that because he is needed in the TTT. That’s gonna cost me a 2nd place in ttt and a few minutes in GC for Abreu.

Oh sorry bosko, havent read the race report. Lacking some time at the moment. Fact is that Rijssegem isnt performing as planned, not at all. Today again, big deception. I dont get it why. Maybe the influence of from is bigger then i expected
And giorginio, couldnt convince me today to keep him:)

And giorginio, couldnt convince me today to keep him:) Poor Giorgino... He had to prove himself in a race with MO 15%, weighing 105kg. That's not an easy task. You lose all your money bro! Melodia could have easily won but did not attack in the first zone.. Kuzemchak not going in the attack.. Hahaha Maybe Kuzemchak would have been a better choice. Btw: Melodia wouldn't have beaten Mennens (Tossboom). He also didn't attack at the first point so he also was 4m behind Rios at the second one. Yet he came only 17s short of winning. What a performance of the only 26y old!

Very unfortunate way to take over the jersey. All of a sudden Abreu is in pole position now. Get well soon, Rios.

Well... GIK team (rios) is not the only one who got fuxxxx this race... My beste timetrial man (laborde) is for the third time this season injured… Second time he can not take part in the TTT... So this makes abreu the winner of this tour. Wtf peloton??? I bought him this season and looked at the stats before (one injury in his career… He comes to my team and within a season THREE injuries?

Looks like this Tour de France is cursed. Not that many injuries, but all important ones! quiller: About the tour: 2 guys on the podium aint bad. And Headcase also lost an important timetrialist. Still lots of races to come. Don't give up yet. About Laborde: there has been an error were all the injuries have been removed from the cyclists history. So you only see the injuries of the latest x seasons. It might also be the case that in the past he didn't ride much races besides TT (where you can't get injured) or flat races (where there's no downhill fall possible).

So Maffei, Van Bunnik, Rios, Laborde and Nunes are the casualties of the first stages of Tour de France. It is starting to look like the real life Tour de France 2014... Maybe next season the TTT's in big tours must be in the first 2 stages.

This is an opportunity AND we have the fitness training... So maybe… We well see after Pau. My team might be the movistar of this tour... Two very stong riders but not being able to win the tour

weird TdF, in all kind of ways Sad for Rios, but luckily for Gik he can use him again in Spain.

Oh no! Did his best cyclist got injured? (whoops) So now Quiller (Caetano or even Renuart) and Headcase (Abreu) favorite to win the TdF. I will be losing my 7th position in the Div ranking.

he can use him again in Spain. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! angelogik is a good manager, he could make Rios win the TdF this season and have him fit enough to start in La Vuelta. I'm pretty sure about that.

I'm pretty sure about that. Off course. No doubt about that. There are 2 updates between the tours, so that wouldn't have been a problem at all. I think evild just ment that Rios will be recovered from his injury just at the start of the Vuelta.

Yes, correct. He will fully recover and be 100% ready for the Vuelta. I think that always has been the plan. He gains a possible 70% fitness in 2 updates, wouldnt have been a big problem anyway Look it from the bright side, he can participate in Norway now
And lets be honest, there is not much tactic involved in attacking every stage. Automatcially you end up in the higher ranks. It has nothing to do with management capacities, it is just a different approach.

GIK team wins the team time trial with 4 cyclists. But the most impressive result for me was WC VroOom finishing 2nd with everyone still fresh for the last week! A serious bummer for Panucci's chance on the youth Jersey... Abreu (Headcase Pro Cycling) seems ready to win his first tour.
