I was very happy Sikkes was able to become the World Champion after a harsh battle with Cornu. The Giro della Toscana however was a disappointment for me. I went with 3 different kind of youngsters, hoping for 3 top 5 finishes in YC. That became only 3, 5 and 7. I must say Gama (Neo) was impressive (and only 23y old!). In the second stage, I was hoping Cormier could create a gap in the downhill attack point (as his downhill is 7 and I know a lot of cyclists hardly train on that), but apparently after that attack he was about the last of his group, so not the hoped podium place for him. Eventough Ceccanti (Headcase) did everything he could the second race, Beaucourt (Gonzalez) was able to keep time and also the points jersey by winning the first 2 early sprints. Bobrowski (Crusaders) gathered just enough points to keep Beaucourt from the treble. Congrats to all the winners!
Now 8 single races left to decide the positions in the division standings. Good luck to everyone!

So it is final. No jerseys this season for me. It is the first season that I don't win any jersey. For some reason the youngster jerseys aren't counted in the division standings. That would leave me two jerseys for Dumeez. I wanted to add one to that in Tuscany, but I utterly failed in the second stage today. In the first stage, I think Dumeez was impressive for a 25-year-old.
Ceccanti did pretty well. Yesterday he lost some time due to a fall, today he could win some seconds back, but Beacourt was too strong. Congratulations, Gonzalez. My assumption that you can only win this two-stage-race by going 100% in both proofed to be correct. The only exception is Division 3:3 where Lanoe wins this GC and still has 80% fitness. All others in top 3 in the divisions 1-3 have fitness of 30/40%.
There is still a lot of racing to go. I hope for at least 2 more wins, maybe 4. The struggle for position 6 in division standings will be interesting. Only 3 points between Dustin and SpartaB

So his delighted mood is financially motivated? Ceccanti has a delighted mood with 1/3 of Beaucourts salary But that's funny because Beaucourt has far more wins than Ceccanti in the last two seasons.

Ai 0ne point away from being a week winner for the first time.
I guess no 400 points will be made up in the final week. So I settle with being 5th. For the second season in a row just behing GIK.

sikkes won again today, with only 85% fitness. Yesterday Guigi of schizmano.
Tommorow U21 race, still nothing for me :-) Probably for headcase ( servranx ) or schizm ( Tack ) I think :-)

I am surprised again, Wijsmuller did it. It is not a specialist, more an allrounder, I hoped for top 5.
his skills at this moment: 6 3 4 3 1 6 - 0 2 3 3 As you can see, not really a favorit.

Congratz, Wijsmuller is a born winner it seems. Since I will sell them this week I can share the skills of Tack and Van Bondt as well V.Tack 1-1-5-1-7-7 14-13-4-0 C. Van Bondt 4-1-2-2-7-7 8-12-3-1 As you can see not that allround and I maybe overestimate the importance of the sprint skill. But it was probably my mistake to change my main attacker from Tack to Van Bondt earlier today. That could have narrowed the margin with Wijsmuller.

Decent rider. More a favorit then Servranckx (1 6 3 2 4 5). Hazeleger (19yo!) finished before Servranckx without attacking...

I’m glad Rigaux could beat Caiado. It was a tough race with only a small group making it to the end. Hopefully Rigaux doesn’t retire next week. Tomorrow I Will be satiafied with a win and nothing less than a win. I’m very curious what the TT-abilities of all the other youngsters are.

Well raul , with 48:19 Neuttiens is the 4th fastest in the entire Pelotongame. Only Vinkers of EGV, Van Groen and Figueira of Alesana are faster. So you are better than expected. Van Groen started at my team in week 1 of season 16 with 2 LS and 0 TT. I've trained him only in TT (and LS of course by putting him on the road as leader 4 races a week) to 10 right now. When his TT is 11 he is trained far enough to be able to compete in TTT's. The fact that the last race of season 19 (Van Groen being 21) was a U21-TT was a gift from heaven for Van Groen, who rode his first race not just as leader, but also as competitor. I'm glad he won. Congratulations to Neo for being the undisputable champion this season and Gonzalez for promoting. Good luck to you both in 1:1. Congratulations to SpartaB for winning the tough battle for 6th place. Being 5th with 14 victories is above my pre-season expectations. Hopefully my stars won't retire so I can compete another season at this level.
