I think this calandar is avery succesfull one! only one thing I know experienced: the points jersey in both the Vuelta and the Tour aren't something you can specifically hunt for. Because of the low amount of sprints per stage, it is automatically a jersey won by the GC contenders, which is a pity. It is extra money and points for the GC riders, so their influence is too big. Perhaps it means we should make a few stages with a lot of sprints in the stage, or put sprints before the first attackingpoint. Slayer, maybe you can check for the new calender?

I see your point, Ab. Like the calandar is now, the sprints before the first AP are like this:
Giro: 2/2 0/1 1/2 0/1 1/2 1/1 0/1 1/2 1/3 = 7/15 or 35 points
Tour: 2/2 1/2 1/2 1/1 1/2 1/3 1/2 1/1 1/2 = 10/17 or 50 points
Vuelta: 1/2 1/2 1/2 0/2 1/2 0/1 0/1 0/1 = 4/13 or 20 points
Writing this down, makes me realise in the Vuelta aren't that much sprints. I think its because its a pretty mountainous course. Still, maybe I can make some changes there; maybe some stages with more sprints indeed. If you have more or other ideas, you can always send me.
Edit: you express it well by saying 'something you can specifically hunt for'. I think early sprints is not the solution for that, maybe some stages with 'a lot' of sprints is better. I will think about it how to make challenging.

I think the importance of the sprints before the first attack point are a bit overrated for the point jersey. Let's take in mind that there will always be at least 3 cyclists who go for stage win (so effort at 100%). When their sprint skill is about 9 for example, that would mean your sprinter (who goes at 70%) would have to have at least 13 to be able to gather points (13*0.7=9.1) every race in the early sprints. If you really want the point jersey going to the best sprinter, I think you'll need 3 sprint stages (with also sprints on the road). Maybe that's an idea for the Tour de France? In real life, that's also the big tour where the green jersey is always a battle. Personally I don't mind that's not possible in the Vuelta for example. There may be a difference between the 3 big tours.
Edit: I didn't saw your latest edit yet. I share your opinion about that. Proposition: If you have for example first 3 sprint races and you give the first race 4 in between sprints (various terrain types), the second 3 and the third 2, people would have to choose about the % of effort every race, so it might be an interesting sprinters battle? And than a sprint stage as very last stage of the tour to be decisive (like champs elysee).

I don't mean that it has to go to the best sprinter. Could be in one grand tour for the variety. I meant to make it you can specifically hunt for. Like the mountain jersey that normally cannot be won in 1 stage.
If it is made in a way that even when you win two stages you still don't win the points jersey because the GC guys end 4th and 5th in all stages, then it isn't good.
The fun part of a grand tour is that you can have several goals. GC, MJ, PJ, YC and stagewins.
If you make two stage with a lot of sprints, you'll have to do it in two different weeks.
My point is that I like to see the PJ as a goal it self, not something you get as an extra bonus by just attack every stage on 75%.

I was planning the rest of the season and noticed that the prize money of the world championship should be higher (Rio 2016 Road Race), like the other world championships. Fixed

Always a nice race, this one. We had the Strade on the calendar this season, also last season. Unfortunately next season this race takes a break, but for sure he will be back in season 21.
