Is someone interested in creating the calendar for the new seasons? We can give more info about how to do that here, or in an e-mail.
We can also provide you the tools to do that. Including how to make new races if you'd like that.

I am willing to do it. I made some races in the past, and I think I've still got those tools somewhere. But I would like to get more information about the calendar, and the tools for that

I hope you will enjoy it xlsx dont open in Open Office but simplified version open so is very good 1. tk for your great work 2. i have 2 comments : a) i think is better, for future, that U21 races to be 2 in one week or in consecutive weeks, like is now you need only 5 youngsters so a team with 1 youngster could win all u21 races b) i dont see mountains in this season especially in bigtours, my first impresion is that mountain cyclists dont have any chances in big tours . Second idea this season races are small? have few km then usually? or is a wrong impression? tk

Second idea this season races are small? have few km then usually? or is a wrong impression? tk a) In this case I tried to stick as much as possible to the order of the real calendar, and then you did not end up with 2 races within 2 weeks. I can understand your point, although it is a matter of taste anyway. However, since I had to change the calendar anyway (next post), the U21 tour has also moved, such that the U21 WC race is in the week after it. b) The calendar may indeed have less km then other seasons. I think I included more races of lower categories, which are often shorter. In addition, the Vuelta of 2017 had a lot of relatively short stages, and 9 of them are included in this calendar. Which also follows to your other point: many "real" mountain stages (in reality I mean) still have a lot of flat in them. When making new races, I still include these flat parts. With the location of the attacking points and the length of the parts, it is however possible to turn it into a mountain race. So I think it is indeed the result of only looking at the terrain lengths, it will turn out differently I think.

Since there was one rule I was not aware of, the calendar has changed a bit. The sheets are now updated. Please download it again if you already did, since the order has changed a bit!

Will there be a general announcement on the game site about the season transfer (seizoensomzetting)?
I've always found it quite helpful to know what will be happening soon.
Thanks, RichardD

Wow. Lots of new races. That must have been a lot of work. Good job! I like the idea of a final week with 6 single races, so changes in the division classifications are still possible. I understand the remark of rarau about the U21. The end of the season is already ok, because of the change of the World CHampionship U21 and in the last week even 2 U21 races. You could still switch "U21 Trofeo Citta di Loano" and "Parigi - Roubaix" or "Liege - Bastogne - Liege" and "U21 Rund um den Henninger-Turm". That wouldn't be a disaster for the calendar sequence. Just one thing that catches my eye: In the tour of Japan is a mountain race of 12km. Is it right that that's not a timetrial?
