From a disastrous first week up to a great week. Two wins in a row for evilD. Congratz!
Now we are two teams with 2 wins. I thought I had a great youngster (Vits). Unfortunately there are better ones. Again it's lack of sprint I guess. Nevertheless I'm happy with the overall performance of my team.
ASA FUN and WC VroOom are clearly taking the lead in this Div. ASA without wins yet, but with a fantastic team. evilD with a tremendous Dubai Tour and showing off his skills in other stages.
Followed by a group of 4 teams. ALESANA, R. Antwerp B.C., By The Way and The Mothers of Invention.
Closing the row with Evcont and dirks toppers.
Naspa Achne 26 and J.M. Jiménez still have some work to do to avoid the relegation places.
Omloop and Strade Bianchi are no races for my team now. I've got no good enough/not fit enough good cyclists left in the team to end up top 10. Surely will lose some places in the Div ranking.
After 8 races, I can say I'll be sure of surviving this season in 2nd Div. And even financially. The upgrading of the sponsorship and the price money with the youngster ranking improved this game.

well i didnt see that one coming to be honest. Lora is a decent rider, surely not the top. But trained in several skills what makes him useful in many races. But able to win, never thought it would be possible. I've seen Alesana and asa bidding on Salez a few days ago, so i knew his stats. And i expected Vits to be closer as well. I know you and David have some good youth. So yeah, big surprise.
I'm more than happy with this 2nd week. I have to step on the brake now:-) Things can and will change fast this early in the season. Still not aiming for promotion though:p I dont know what happend with Naspa. It seems that he lost the desire to play. Maybe he wants to go back to 3rd and fight back with his youth? But then it's weird that he keeps holding on to his 35+ cyclists. ASA is a bit the Rarau storie from last season. He wins a lot of points due to his fitness training. Traphagen, venet, Beghelli can score every week. And they are good cyclists. But like i said, last season was similar. His start was amazing, no stage wins, but earned many points in tours (even won the giro), was at the top of the table, and suddenly he stopped playing. We'll see what will happen in a few weeks when the mountain stages are in.
I still dont know what to do with the Omloop or who to play. For Strade Lonfils comes in, and Suze la rousse i've got Reckmann available. So i think i might let pass Omloop and Rambouillet. Traphagen will be strong favorite to win the GC in Paris Nice
I'm glad that the level in our division is that close. Every team has a chance to win races so it stays fun for everyone. Also financially, idd, the prize money for the youngsters is a bless for many teams.

ASA fun is not holding to his 35+. I've seen a lot of them on the TL but not sold. Perhaps too expensive? ASA has bought Salez. Only thing I know is his TT skill. One to look out for in the WC U21 TTT. Yes it's still early in the season. After Giro we will know a lot more. To fitness or not to fitness? Roma is a sprint race. So nothing for me. Highest sprint I have is a simple 8. He can't compete agains sprinters of your type or others with much higher sprintskill. So I'll give Lezzani a try in Milano. First stronger team will be Paris-Nice. (Far from the strongest team) Perhaps I should say less weaker team. Omloop: Beule for a top 15. Gama for top 20. Which is very hopefull. Strade: van Gunst for top 15 is possible. Top 10 would be great. Top 5 a wonder. Winning a miracle. Paris-Nice: yeah it's nice. Just hoping for a good ranking.

You have seen riders from ASA on the TL or from Naspa? I took a closer look on Naspa's performances, it seems he is gaining experience with his 26-29y cyclists. Same story for MoI. The prices on the TL are really low these days. 5k for your youngster, 450k for my 17 TT. Real bummer. 2 Years ago, i remember paying 2mil for a 13 mountain or so
I see some riders from By the Way on the TL. Looks like he's changing things as well. Good signing from Kellner btw:-)
I figured out my tatctics until Tirreno. After that we will see who to put where. I took a gamble today with Hobai. See what he can do. Course is not 100% suited for him, too many flat parts. Tomorrow Lonfils, i expect something from him after his bad result in Tour down Under. Paris - Nice maybe a stage win, no GC ambition, Tirreno good GC for Clementino.

Both ASA and Naspe. 35+ . And some younger too 27 - 29 but don't know if they were from ASA or Naspe. As I predicted: very hopefull and it was optimistic. Beule was top 20 and Gama top 25.

I'm just getting rid of some riders I won't use a lot. Some pretty nice youngsters, but I can't have to much of them. Kellner is a nice addition to my team indeed. I do not have a lot of cyclist from his age. Actually he is my second rider between 22 and 30. The others are all younger than 22 or older than 30.
I think I can make top 10 every race, but it would be better to get some more victories. Today it was a nice 4th and 6th place although I hoped for more.

Hi piepolio, glad you are here talking to us. Nice to hear from you. Have fun. I have the feeling nobody wants the promotion. Interesting theory :-)

Thks Iulian. It's nice to meet some of the 'old' teams now and then. (unless they are much stronger) You're doing great. 2 wins too and very close to my team. Have a nice holiday. It's great to see this forum so animated. Best of all Div's.

evilD has his devils disbanded. 3rd win this week and takes over 1st place in our Div. Lonfils seems to have no problem at all to survive the hills and the gravel roads of the Strade Bianchi. I'ld say this is a fantastic report! vanGunst ended up 6th. Due to the LS of Bythell he couldn't attack a 5th time. He even managed to take the lead of the escaping group. Unfortunately the attack on the 3rd point nailed him. Proud of my cyclist. Thomassin succeeded to arrive at a decent place. As his beginning fitness was only 85% and was assigned as helper. Just wondering who stopped the peloton? Thomassin or Craddon and his teammates.

Glad to have you back negru. Enjoy your holidays
chak, i went full for lonfils today and put the other 4 cyclists as helper. They might have slown down things a bit yes:-) Satisfied with this win, my gameplan worked perfect and pulling him back in Down Under was a good decision. He has earned some credit... xD I know its not always possible, but not having 5 attack points is a big disadvantage in 2nd div. At least from my experience.Van gunst lost a top5, maybe even top 3 spot due to it, im sure. Next paris nice. No gc ambition because of the sunday update. Will try and go for a stage win, but thats about. Have had an excellent week, and after 2 weeks i cannot ask more. Looking forward to tirreno though. I wanna see those mountain goats;-)
You have contact with thisteamhasnomanager from P&P? I dont like him. He never answers me. :-))))
