While I agree with Ab that it would have been better that the race was postponed until this evening, I feel once the race has been simulated you don't go back because that would cause only more troubles.
Now; The reason it didn't get postponed is that none of us were aware that the site was back up until it was already to late. IP has send a support request to the hosting this morning , and they fixed the problem with less then an hour on the clock before the race (we still don't know what went wrong).
(and even if I had known the site was running, I didnt have the opportunity to change the schedule, on wednesday afternoons I usually visit customers).
Ab, Cirao, I can't say you are wrong, too much is going wrong these days. But I would hate to see dedicated managers, as you both are, leave this game. I still believe we can make this game better and more reliable in the near future.

Playing to win is right, but in recent times Peloton unfortunately is not the right place for this So the solutions are not many, or continue accepting the situation, or you will be disappointed Accept this as a suggestion Cirao, I really do respect this reaction a lot! You are right! I am maybe naïve and hoped I could play to win, but it simply can't, that proved this again. I simply can't play it any other way. Going to find myself another game I guess. Ab... I understand that your tactics change depending on what happens on the first stage. Mine often do as well. But the key word is "change". With Peloton as it is, it's a good plan to put in default tactics assuming your initial tactics work about as expected. Then you change them depending on the results of stages... but at least you have tactics in. That's how I work at least. I would have liked to have changed my tactics too. I was expecting to be 3 minutes and 5-6 minutes down with my top two guys from stage 1... and instead I was 9 minutes and 14 minutes down. My original tactics had a GC plan... and that was obviously blown after the first stage. But I did have tactics in place and got (for me) a decent result on the next stage. I would urge you to set tactics in advance and just modify them as needed instead of waiting to set them from scratch. There's really little downside and would save you a lot of annoyance after the fact.

Hi Kurtinsc,
That is true, but in this case (and it happens more often) I was abroad since Sunday and was constantly in negotiation with people, including a night programm, so only my Phone and no computer. Then it is hard to put it in. I already had difficulties with the first stage. And therefore I planned to do it Tuesday evening.
