Hello,
It's the second time that I have this problem at the end of the season. As usual we give our cyclists a contract included a minimum of rides. Principal it is very clear.. contract 10 rides.. he has to ride 10 times in a season. But when we gave the rider the option to ride a tour the France or other thing and he's injured after day 2.. we loose all those others days. I think that is not correct.. Especially the last month of the season.. can be tricky.
What do you think?

Maybe we should adapt this number of races when a cyclist is injured during a tour, with the total amount of race of that tour ...

And what about inured riders? Strange that a rider who had 0% fitness is 100% at the start of the season but injuries still are injuries. If Nibali had a concussion in Lombardia, he also would be fit before the tour down under.

I've been in that situation twice and the only solutions IMHO are managing your team so that your cyclist(s) reached the number of races the needed, or to renewal their contract. If they get injured before the end of season or before the end of their contract is also called bad luck. And yes it sucked for me too. On the other hand you can put them on the transferlist too.

By the way, as suggested before by many others, injuries should be modified, in my opinion. They're too much penalizing, expecially when they happen during a big tour.
I like past suggestions like reducing the rider's fitness or his training rate, without excluding him from races.
Peloton is a well balanced game, where tactics and planning really count and I think that these random aspects should be reduced.

It's true that injuries could use some more variation. But there should always be injuries that keep cyclists from racing. On the other hand, there should be some more small injuries which gives a penalty on his skills and goes away by some daily update (if that's possible) like scratches, stiff muscles, bruises But this topic isn't really ment for this discussion

the game is what it is. it's very nice if changes for the better could and would be done but given the situation we ar in... plz plz don't even ask to change anything UNTILL everything is working in the situation we ar in now.
Having a working game without bugs must be priority before we (IP) even thinks of changing anything. My guess is, he has'nt the time for this anyway...
