Seabra won 2'46'' on Ziegler today with the 5% extra. Don't know if you dit a good thing. That's what's so great about this game Can Seabra cope in a ITT? and there's also another hill-mountain stage coming up before the ITT Seabra's a jack of all trades kind of rider. He's not great in any area, but he's solid across the board. The more varied the terrain, the better he does. I'm not sure what a 38km TT would do to him vs the competition. Seabra is a decent TT rider, but he's no specialist.

Thx, Looking good for Ziegler. I sea you went for another extra 5% with Seabra.. that means Seabra-Ziegler have the highest fitness left.

Seabra's a decent TT rider but best case he's making up a minute on someone I think, not 6 minutes. I'm thinking somewhere between 3rd and 6th is where he'll end up. Lost a bit too much in this stage... I needed a hill or flat section early to try to get away from the climbers more before the mountains started. Downhill skill isn't enough to break away from a full peloton for him.

Misotten seems to have a big enough lead to hold on to the win. From 2nd on is very much a crapshoot. I dont know if it will be enough.. Misotten has only 60% fitness so Ziegler and Seabra and others might have a shot for 1st position! He's a decent TT i hope he'll get in the top 10 but i doubt it.. we'll see son enough!

A surprising winner? Congratz even though to the top 3 of the Vuelta. I think indeed that this will be the final standing of the Vuelta. Unless Team buckeys jumps out of the blue.... Still 13 hours to go, but only 6 teams subscribed for Tour de Rio. No bucky, no snakes of Milan, no swimmers, no Festina clocks, no French team and no Polase. Financially not so good so far. Only top 8 without the 3rd and the 7th of the Div ranking.

Surprise.. for me yess, he's not in my list.. I have learned something this Vuelta becouse I've been folowing up closely this time. Somthing I did not do in the past. If I could race this Vuelta again, I would have set Ziegler on 100% attack in stead of 80% last stage. I would have been 2nd guaranteed and would even have a shot at yellow jersey. lessons learned

It might have worked in this particular case, but not always... how others scheme impacts how decisions like that work out. My issue was with the order of the stages. If stage 5 or 6 had been just before the TT rather then the one we had, Seabra would have gone at 100% and made up a lot of ground. The terrain for the one we had wasn't suitable enough for him to try that strategy. I probably would have gained a similar amount of time to what I would have lost from having a reduced TT performance. Someday maybe one of the GT's will have late hill-focused stages for Seabra to steal one.

As the yellow jersey plan did not work out for RC in the Vuelta, perhaps it will in Rio? Congratz man, you begin to push buckeyes...
