In the first race of the Tour de Suisse my teamleader got injured for 1 week. However, he is better 1 day later because it's the end of the week and all the cyclists get their rest on sunday-evening. Now monday there's the second race, but my teamleader can not race, even if his condition is 100% and he is not injured. He hasn't missed a race either (actually not one second). Why van't he race? Can someone explain this to me?

Because he got injured. I know this is strange, but that's because there's only 1 injury update per week. In the future I'm planning on doing daily injury updates which will solve this. But now you can be happy that your cyclist only got injured for 1 day and not 7.

Okay. I will pretend he is pschychologically ill. That way I can explain it to myself.
Thanx for the answer.

Maybe it's similar to a famous football(soccer) game in wich after the player heals he still has a patch near his name and can get reinjured easier. Maybe his now in rehab
