I know some teams will be angry at me now (I don't know the translation in English but in Dutch we say: "Wie het schoentje past, trekke het aan" - perhaps someone can translate this to correct English) , but I know too that other teams will be glad that some one dares to mention this on the forum. Once again, I agree with you Chakra and I just want to show my support for what you have said. "He that will cheat at play, will cheat you anyway." -Proverb

Thks for your support you Crazy Canuck. I suppose IP nor his team had the time this WE to wade through the list I suppose, cause I've seen no changes in the number of teams being banned.

The moment a cheater is discovered, his/her team will be deleted immediately. No warnings are given, no mails are sent. If you can't log in to the game anymore, you know what time it is. Only 1 team is allowed for each player. Buying/Selling cyclists from friends for a lot more (or a lot less) than the market value is also considered cheating.Keep the game fun and honest. I you think you found a cheater, either pm me or sent me a message in the game (my team is Team Peloton, id 2). I mentionned some combinations at the beginning of February 09. Rementionned them end of the same month, begin March but these teams (very obvious cheaters in my opinion) keep on selling racers to friends for a lot more than the market value. One of them sold allready for +500.000 EUR in total. Even a racer sold for approx 150.000 and the buyer sold him for approx 1140 EUR. This teams works in a combination of 3 up to 4 teams. Another combination mentionned (and also by collegue team-managers) is one of 6 up to 7 teams. Supporters of a former real world-champion. A third combination, recently mentionned, of 3 teams. Of course they use different IP-adresses. It's not so hard to create a team at a friends PC at his home, or at work, or.... So the IP-adress can not be the only thing to be considered. You can also find some explanation on page 26 of this topic. Meanwhile they keep steeling prices from the honest teams, who are getting frustrated and are thinking of leaving the game, because of these fraudulous tactics. Just one question: When will something be done against them?Edit1: OK! I've just seen now (approx 14 o'clock) that 2 combinations have lost their manager. Is suppose the third one will be taken care of soon. Thks. And sorry but it is really frustrating. Edit2: All banned. So the game is more honest now. Thks IP

The second team will become a bot after a while and then it will be eventually replaced by another player.

A player (that is stopping the game) has put an overbid on my cyclist Bernino Miccoli (223287). Could you readjust it please? Whatever, this "stopping" is due to some fights over your gestion of the FORZA 17/Team Carol case, and so a decrease of the ambiance... Could you please read peloton.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=francegeneral&action=display&thread=3700&page=5#58214 (it begins there, and there are some posts over 2 pages, it's in French but I know you read it a little, I hope you'll understand)? I think it would not be bad that you speak a little to people. Thanks by advance!

Sad to lose ASA. Bit hard discussion on the French forum with some nasty words. I would say, keep up the spirit, play the game in a fair way. Sure IP will find the wright answers.

I am interested to read boucthesurvivor's statement as I had a not-so-interesting 'bidding-war' with a particular team at 7:30-ish this morning, (on the game clock). I thought I was seeing some pretty irregular, (almost hostile), bidding patterns and bouc's statement rouses my suspicions more... I was wondering if you could please look at the bidding for Jurgen Theunen, (175229).

It could just be a figment of my imagination... There were several riders being bid on by a few different teams this morning, including two similar riders that I had identified as ones I wanted for my team. I have been watching the Transfer Market for the past few weeks, and I had guess-timated what I expected to pay for them. The bidding was still fairly low when I started in on the two riders. At the same time there was a 'team' bidding on several different riders; this 'team' suddenly jumped on one of the riders I was targeting. After several bid-back-and-forths I noticed that the same was happening to riders that were to be sold just before Jorgen, and that in the end 'this team' was never the winning bidder. Finally, after several last minute bids by 'this team' which kept extending the deadline, 'this team' whacked one last bid and logged-off... leaving me no option but to make the final bid to get the rider. Now; it is not in my nature to be a pregnant dog, and I thought a lot about it before mentioning anything on here, but I suspect that this was something done out of spite toward the game for whatever reason. At the end of the day I bought the two riders: Rocchino Dimai (166320) - www.peloton-game.net/cyclistdetails.aspx?id=166320Purchased for €96,630.00, (a little less than expected). Jurgen Theunen (175229) - www.peloton-game.net/cyclistdetails.aspx?id=175229Purchased for €682,349.00, (a lot more than expected). At the same time... maybe it is all on the -up-and-up, and I am just sore because I payed more than I expected... Hmmmm. At the end of the day, (the sun goes down). **edit

IP, I came across this rediculous transfer when looking at the country page of the Netherlands:
Team x bought a cyclist (cyclist-id: ?) for 400,000,000 from Team y. Then, Team y has bought a cyclist for 15,000,000 with this money.
mod edit : The policy is not to mention teams here, use the tool to report this please. in the meantime I will make sure that IP gets your original message.

Good! However, i think the selling team has a problem now: he bought a cyclist for 15,000,000 and the chances are high that he is in serious financial problems now...
