The FA doesn't mean that it's the maximal skill they can reach. So with an FA=5 you can train a cyclist from 7 to 8, but it will go much slower than one with FA=15. It will have an impact on the trainingspeed, but if you train your cyclists (even with a low FA), they still will level up. The ones with high FA will just go faster then those with a low FA. But now you still can sell them, because people with an other training will be able to use him, maybe he has an high FA on another skill.

It seems logical that rider has a maximum of future hability, for example : --- Current skill -------- maximun skill will get Plan ------- 2 ------------- 12Hill -------- 3 -------------- 8Mountain - 2 ------------- 18etc...

so ? FA may be something like 5.8 at flat and 19.0 for mountin for a cyclist after the skill reaches level 7 right ?

Do you have IP confirmation about that? The Training (9/30/2011) announcement says: "Another important change, related to this FA, is the speed at which cyclists gain skills. We have significantly increased the training speed of skills with a low value: any skill with a value below 7 will train as if the cyclist had an FA value of 20! Once the skill is at 7, the cyclist's own FA for that skill will be used." Which indicates the racer will just train slowly if his RA for that skill is <7 ... not stop training.

It's hereby confirmed The limit of a skill is always 20, no matter the FA. Of course, unless your cyclist has a FA of at least 15, it will take like 30 seasons to train him to 0 to 20. And by then, he'll be retired ;D The training speeds have been made so, that only cyclists with a very high FA can reach skill values of 18, 19 or 20. Those will be very, very rare, but then again, so are all the true champions
