I couldn't find any topic about this subject, and I think it's a quite important one. The (dutch) wiki says the following about about finances (translated): If you buy riders/trainers/scouts you need to have enough on your current balance. You can't buy anything when your current balance doesn't allow this.
At which value of the current balance you can't buy anything anymore? Or which other exact values count to decide that you can't buy anything (e.g. is the price of the rider you want to buy also important)?
I like to know this, because I will have a negative balance after the update Sunday evening, but I know already that my (virtual) balance will be positive after selling 2 riders Monday. So I really would like to spend some money again on transfers next week, but am I still able to do so?
I'm sorry if this subject is already mentioned anywhere else.

If I remember correctly you can only bid on a cyclist till -100K of your balance. But buying cyclists is based on your future balance. Hiring a trainer or scout on your current. Maybe someone can confirm if I recall this correctly ?
