I want to beat extremespooky (one day). Even if it is only for a few races. ;D But it would be nice if it is possible with my existing team!

i have chosen to keep the old teams but i think that to try and get enough players when it starts again, it would be more fair everyone starts at zero (but i'll miss my riders)

What's the difference between people who started recently and those who will start when peloton is totally back? There will always be teams who started earlier if you aren't with the first ones, for good managers this is totally no problem (In fact, in the lower divisions you still earn way more than in first or second division, so they all get a good start )

Now, if a teams wishes to start, it starts with riders with stats with very big difference between them and the top-teams and that could lower the appetite of some managers. (my opinion off course)

(my opinion off course) I really don't get your point... If we restart then everybody has the +/- the same team and the differences won't be big, but teams who start later will have an disadvantage too? Managers who sign up after a while will always have a disadvantage, if you don't want that disadvantage you can reset the game every week... Example: The difference between managers who signed up 1 year ago and those who are new is +/- the same then betweem managers who sign up now and those who will only join the game in a year... So you will have to reset the game again to give everyone equal chances...

I would also prefer my old team back, but on the other hand this would be a good time to get rid of the predictability in some leagues where some teams are just much stronger then the others. To make the differences between teams not only smaller for those who are present at the restart, but also for future managers I would suggest the following :
Give every team 1 cyclist for every age (f.i. for all ages between 18 and 29) and let the cyclists skills be based on the startvalue for the 18-year old plus the average trainingprogress (should be a FA of 10) the cyclists would have made if they were to be trained from the age of 18. In which skills should be randomly decidede for each cyclist, although it would be a real bummer if your best cyclist only got trained in downhill.
