Because in real cycling, belgium tour is not programmed now, and only Pro-tour races are used in the calendar. Maybee another option: everytime when there are some days without a race organise a continental race depending on the country where your competition is. For Belgium this could be 3 days in De Panne, Brabantse Pijl, ... But I think that these kind of race are to difficult for the moment.

Does the ProTour actually still exists? Anyways, the current calendar is not going to change with more races/tours. There are enough races now.
The Belgium Tour could be for lower divisions though. Maybe we could start thinking about how the calendars should look like for lower divisions. Different calendars for different division levels should make the game more interesting and less of the same each season.

Not different calendars for different divisions are interresting, but different calendars for different countries. With your proposal if I would be in third division and buy players for the calendar there, and I would promovate to second division, then I'll have to study the new calendar for new cyclists. That will cost money and time (which is, in business, the same ) For different countries it would be cooler to race in your home country and so you can put more races from Belgium to the calendar of divisions in Belgium, the same with France, Italy, ...

Why not have both? Specific calendars per division, per country. Having a different calendar when promoting or relegating seems to be more interesting than having the same races every season.
It will also make it more apparent that you are 'moving up', when you start in division 4 participating in small, local races, and eventually you reach a division where you can participate in the big classics. It adds a new goal to the game, it makes more sense and it would be a bigger achievement when you win, for example, Paris-Roubaix.
The way it is now, division 4 teams can win these races as well, making them less 'exclusive' and important.
It would then also make more sense to add trophees for these races.

Great Idea, you can use the way actual races are rated. I've forgotten how it exactly works, but each race has a rating which determine what the highest ranking can be of the riders that want to participate. So some more local races can't accept riders that are in the best 100 list, implementing something like this is nonsensical, but might help you with determining which races goes where.

Yes, that's what I had in mind too. Races have some sort of level which could be used to determine in which division they belong. I will have to install Pro Cycling Manager to see which races belong to which category There should be plenty of races for at least 4 divisions.
