* Secondary Skills:
Steering and bravery affect the bad luck your cyclists will encounter during a race, that is: flat tyres and falls. Both type of accidents will cause a loss of time, which you'll surely want to avoid. The lower your steering ability, the more flat tyres you'll have. The lower a cyclists bravery, the more he'll fall during a race. Both steering and bravery can't be trained. But each time a cyclist falls, bravery will increase by 0.1. And each time a cyclist has a flat, steering will increase by 0.1.
Steering: 20 Balance: 19
flat tyres and falls.
Today's race is Paris-Tours. 4. Cristescu 1 0
how is possible for Cristescu to have a flat with 20 stering ??
but my problem is other, his last owner tell me that at 1 from 4-5 races Cristescu have a flat or fall. For what he have this huge stering and balance ??
p.s I know (understood) that a 20 stering/balance could have a fall or flat but so often ?
ps 2 i hope is the correct forum. Or bugs/newbie is better??
with his flat tyres Cristescu will have 21 stering ? ;D

yes i have noticed it too: injuries etc do not depend on the steering/bravery skill - which seems to mee, is quite strange - a random factor depends if a cyclist falls etc... somehow this random-stuff still does not seem as random to me as it is said to be.

Injuries are based on a 3rd hidden skill; the higher the value in this skill, the more chance to get injured during training or after a fall.

it still is a strange thing that "hidden" value... irl if you are injured you visit a doctor you get healthy - my cyclist was injured for 2 weeks and than immediatly after these 2 weeks, again an injury? yeah right, really realistic. sorry for my loss of appetite in this game

If you are injured you go to a doctor, yes. But if you are not a strong human being or have a chronical illness, you get sick more often. Same principle here.

If you can find me a doctor that guarantees me that i won't get injured after recovering from an other injury, i will kiss your feet. In fact, i think the chances of getting injured are highest after being injured or recovering from an injury.

what if he has an astma-certificate ? someone with a chronical illness would not get on a bike and cycle in a team.... irrellevant stuff. so hidden skill thing is irrellevant stuff too in my opinion

Having 20 on steering doesn't guarantee that he won't have any flats. The chances are just very very small (but it can happen).
