Some quick questions for a newbie...
I have read the wiki and entered a race ,etc...
1. Best size of team i.e. how many cyclists is required? 2. What mix of skills at what level is required? 3. gone overdrawn straight away with youth scout, trainer etc... any tips? 4. tour de france coming up - any tips for picking riders?

1. personally I like being around 25 cyclists because of getting the most out of your trainer but a starting team can do with less I guess, my first two seasons I managed with 16 to 21 cyclists. 2. This is hard to answer because it solely depends on what division you are in and in which races you want to succeed. Over the whole of the season Mountain and Flat are the most important skills followed by Hill, other skills are significantly less important. 3. Don't bother to buy a youthscout straight away wait until you can afford the best one (20-20-20) and prepared to pay him a large wage to get him in a good mood. But at the moment even with such a scout it is hard to get any profit from him (there are to many pulls so prices stay pretty low most of the time). About the trainer first thing what you need is a good trainer, I advise someone with 20 on 1 skill (you can train only one skill at a time anyway) preferedly mountain or flat (you 're always welcome to experiment with specializing in other skills but most of the time that turned out bad) 4. the TDF is best suited for cyclists with good flat skills but to win it you probably need decent mountain-skills to. The TDF is a big tour so if you try to go for the classifications cyclists with some bravery and steering are advantaged.
